PA, Philly - 10.08.04 - 10.10.04 - Whistle 4 @ Shampoo *REVIEW*

I really am confused though... why did the topic starter say tickets were $35 in advance and $40 at the door if Local 13's site says $25 before and $30 at the door? I mean granted, Local 13 hasn't posted full info (including lineup) yet to their site but still... if they're the ones throwing the party then I'm likely to trust what they have posted on their site about tickets.

Who wants to call one of the ticket outlets listed and find out? ;)

My official decision on the matter is that IF it is in fact $25 presale tickets then I am definitely interested in going. However there is the small matter of I need someone to go with me :\

But I definitely want to go. I'm taking the month of August off from parties. And possibly September cause if I go anywhere that month its to the NE to visit friends up there. So by October I will be IN NEED of a party :)
 
it's 25 in advance i called 612 and talked to a Nigel( i think), and they're 25 so there

btw i will also be in attendance for nostalgia's sake

someone else wrote up that info probably, if you see in the post it says "$35 IN ADVANCE AND $40 AT THE DOOR (I THINK IF IM WRONG ILL FIX IT)" and ive seen that on other boards too.

well, I posted on Buzzboard about how Local 13's site says $25 in advance & $30 at the door and that someone (I just said "a friend") called 611 records and was told the same. Then some guy on Buzzboard, who is apparently someone who promotes for Local 13, told me to "edit my shit immediately cause I'm completely wrong" :X

He said "I work for Local 13 and it's $35/$40 we haven't updated our site in awhile but the fliers say $35 in advance and $40 at the door" since my flier that I got at Starscape got ruined in the rain, I have no way of checking.

So I told him to get his shit together and update the website before a lot of people get pissed off. Also told him he might want to look into why one of the ticket outlets was quoting $25 before.

Kinda shady shit... and already... hrm :\ I'm not paying $40 to be crammed into what I'm told is a tiny ass club. No thanks!
 
Ok fuck it, I'm going. Squeaks just told me he wants to go too.. and Feelgood is there so we're thinking that's enough persuasion to get Frostyangel (our other roommate) to go too. After all, we missed our date for Feelgood at Starscape 2003 so, she owes me ;)

werd :) Hell I'd be MUCH happier if it really is $25 in advance and $30 at the door like they told you at 612! And I'll take a BL'ers word over a promoter's word ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

And I'm only going if at least Squeaks (and hopefully Jen too!!!!) are going cause I sure as hell am not going myself! And they missed Starscape this year so hopefully they still have an itch to party! ;)
 
Well I am def going to this party.. Whistle was one of the very first rave parties I went to and despite the fact that the main party is being held at Poo this year. Thta wont make me change my mind.... My rents live 15 minutes from the event so I figure I could just crash there after the party..
Yes after missing Starscape this year... I am getting the itch to go to a party again... Would really like to see Feelgood spin again as well as some of the old resident Club DJ's from Philly back when I was a Club Kidd....

And JJ You Better go I missed your wedding and your damn right it's been way tooo long!

im going to try to drag luke to this. i want to see anabolic frolic. yes, i like hhc :D the first time i saw him was the night i met luke, and the last was the night he and i hooked up. so maybe something epic will happen... ;) :D
