Oxy's & Dihydrocodeine

I have been using dihydrocodeine for 4 years now and have built sort of a big tolerance now, I take 700mg's a day.

I finally got my hands on some oxycodone hydrocloride and have taken 80mg's and the effects are very mild compared to my usual dose of dihydrocodeine.
My question is, does my tolerance to dihydrocodeine affect the effects of the oxy's?

Yes they are cross tolerant.

Oxycodone is about 10 to 15 times stronger than DHC
