What would a green round pill with ON and a little underscore on the bottom and 80 on the other side be. ?
Is that an Oxyneo 80mg ?

I mean absolutely no disrespect, but I never understood this.

Isn't the proper identification of a drug tantamount to harm reduction? I.E, knowing exactly what you're putting into your body?

But of course, this can be just as easily accomplished with describing the item into google. I'm just playing devil's advocate a bit.

Bluelight doesn't allow pill identification threads.
^this.

The reason we don't allow pill IDs is because pills can be faked, just like fentanyl laced fake OC80s and bunk roxicodone, so Bluelight is not liable for any complications as a result of individual failure to identify the contents they intend to consume.

TL;DR Google it yourself. I would be more than happy to do pill IDs for people if we allowed it, but we don't and it takes me less than 30 seconds to find it myself via Google.

Aside from using google, you can also search the website of the company that manufactures the medication to find out the markings on the pill.

Here is the product listing for Purdue Pharma in Canada.

If you go down to the OxyNeo listing and click on the link you will see the pill markings for each dose listed on page 22 here.

As for the reasoning for not allowing pill ID threads, one of the main reasons for not allowing them is so that we can reduce clutter. This way some HR questions that may be hard to find information on elsewhere are easier to view/find for those that may know the answer or others that may be looking for the answer along with the OP without having to scroll through a bunch of threads such as pill ID threads that contain information that can easily be answered by searching on google.

Another reason for not allowing pill ID threads is that a person might give the wrong answer which could lead to the OP ingesting a dangerous dosage or a drug that they can't take for whatever reason. People are better off using the pill ID on drugs.com or searching through the product listing on the website of the company that makes the particular drug.

If you would like to discuss the pill ID policy any further then start a thread on it in Support.
