Oxymorphone nasal BA?

According to the bluelight charts, 1 mg of oxymorphone IV = 20 mg of oxycodone IV, but 20 mg of oxycodone oral = 10 mg of oxymorphone oral.

Big difference. What is the intranasal BA of oxymorphone? How does it compare to the oral BA of oxy? I didn't think eating an opana would do anything, everyone I know snorts it. I know it seems weird to compare different ROAs for different drugs, but since oxycodone has a higher BA when eaten, I almost never snort it. What would be a "safe" dose of oxymorphone to snort if the person in question could handle 20 mg oxycodone orally, no problem?

Oxymorphone is 4x stronger than Oxycodone when insufflated (ie 40mgs of Oxymorphone insufflated = 160mgs of Oxycodone ). Oxymorphone is a much more potent, euphoric, and sedating high (prefer it to IV Heroin personally). Try 5mgs or below for your first time, as it's written "you can always take more, you can never take less" Test the waters and get a feel for it. Its been my current DOC for awhile now, ever since the time I railed my first pink 10mg Opana IR

There is a bioavailability thread here which confuses matters as it gives nasal bioavailabilities for oxymorphone (43% ) and oxycodone (55-70% ) - which doesn't make sense with the conversion chart. I think the problem is it is difficult to get data on nasal bioavailabilities - it's not a ROA many drugs are given by in a medical setting, especially opioids, so there isn't the same body of evidence as there is for oral/rectal etc - plus nasal bioavailability can vary hugely depending on technique and nasal congestion so again it would be difficult to get a definitive, accurate answer.

I would go with Escapedysphoria's advice myself - you want to start low anyway and not risk overdoing it and overdosing.

I personally find oxymorphone 3-4x more potent than oxycodone when insufflated.

Ref: an Opana 40 will provide 3-4 uses, compared to a Roxy 30.

I agree with the above posts, the data may be murky but it's safe to say it is indeed stronger when snorted and caution should be used accordingly. Start low.

Also, depending on the preparation (what kind of pill, or whatever) it's in, it could have an inherently negative effect on your health.

Opana is a perfect example. The Silicified microcellulose that makes up the time-release mechanism is very bad for the nasal cavity and lungs, but eating them is a waste. Such a shite combination of traits.
