Oxymorphone Dosage

I recently came into possession of some oxymorphone tablets, 5mg about 40 of them. I was wondering what a good recreational dose would be, enough to discourage me from wandering around in public, but not so much that all I can do is lay down and drool on myself.

Also, what is the best method of administration for said tablets? They are pure.
 
Those are some great pills you came into possession of. First thing you need to know is to not swallow them, you will simply waste them if you take them orally because of the horrible bioavailibility they have taken oral. Only like 10% of the oxymorphone makes it into your bloodstream if you swallow them. Its a total waste.

Do you know whether they are the instant-release or the extended-release version? The 5mg IR version is blue while the ER is pink(the dose should be on the pill). If they are the IR version the best way to take them is to just crush and snort, or if you inject they can also be IV'ed. If they are the extended release version I shave the coating off with a knife and then just crush as finely as possible and snort.

What is your opiate tolerance? Opana is very strong when snorted or IV'ed. 5mg is probably good for someone with no or a low tolerance. 5mg is probably equal to 20-30mg of oxycodone/oxycontin. Opana must be respected, its very strong.
 
The tablets are white and small, I believe. I don't have them in my hand right now, but they didn't look coated. However I only saw them briefly through a bottle before my gf took them and I have to drive and go get them, so I might be a little off on the details.
 
Oxymorphone is pretty potent stuff, to properly answer your question we would have to know about your opiate tolerance. I have a friend with a super low tolerance that od'd on 5mgs..
 
Those may not be oxymorphone. Im pretty sure there is no generic oxymorphone right now, Endo is the only pharm company that puts out oxymorphone, called Opana. The only Opana pill that is white is the 15mg Opana Extended-Release Pill. Its octagon shaped with a 15 on one side. The 5mg Opanas are either a blue round IR pill or a pink octagon ER pill.

You sure its not oxycodone or something else?

Yes, my girlfriend messed up and mistakenly called it oxymorphone, it's hydromorphone. I was wondering how she happened to come in such a large quantity of it, sorry for the misinformation guys. Thank you though.
 
Hydromorphone is still a good score. Have fun and enjoy! Not great orally, but if you snort it you will feel golden. However go easy, it is strong and it's best to underdose.. you can always take more. Have some fun!
 
Hydromorphone is a waste IMHO unless it's banged. However, Ï am NOT suggesting you pick up a needle for this shit if you don't currency shoot anything.


Snort 1.5mg maybe?
 
I totally misjudged dosage, railed 8mg and plugged 8. I feel good, but now I'm kind of freaking out, since I read recommended doses my heart has been pounding, not sleepy at all though. Should I go to the hospital? I have a mild opiate tolerance. I'm shaking a little, but the internet says overdose will likely cause extreme sleepiness or passing out.
