Oxycotin article in July issue of SPIN

Check it out. It's pretty informative...
One thing that startles me is how it pointed out that, given that the dose is the same amount, oxycotin is more potent than heroin.
what are your thoughts on this?

Yeah that makes sense. Oxy is much more expensive than heroin, so it makes sense that it is more potent. Otherwise why would people splurge up to $1 per mg if it wasn't. The other thing to keep in mind with Oxy as opposed to heroin is that you know your dose/purity which is something that is virtually unascertainable with street heroin. Oxy is also really fucking rare, heroin is probably much easier to get to get for the average opiate enthusiast.
