Alright question. I've been on 80mg oxys now for a year and I've been peeling them and chewing them but I've become tolerate. I don't want to shoot them up but any suggestion on what I should do and when I go to the doctors next I wanna get bumped up higher any suggestions

Simply tell them that the OC 80's arent quite taking care of your pain and you think you should up your dose little by little until its taken care of. The doctor understands that tolerance builds and should be understanding but you should try hard not to come across as someone just trying to get high. Just tell him that your starting to feel pain more and think its cause of your tolerance and if there is anything he can do to help with this extra pain.....he will most likely increase your dosage by about 10 mg's at a time until you say that the pain has gone away.

Allthough some doctors have become EXTREMELY careful when it comes to giving out oxy's because of all the media attention from overdoses and the FDA cracking down on dr's who give out oxy scripts like candy........so it may be hard to convince him to up your dose....but since youve been on it for a year, your tolerance would obviously have increased and it would only make sense for him to increase your dosage. His ony other option would be to put you on a different drug. In this case, give it a try, but then tell him after about a week or two that its still not helping and he will more than likely up your oxy dose. That way he can atleast say that he tried other alternatives before just giving you more narcotics.

I closed the other thread you posted this in (and corrected your spelling, which you neglected to retain) so see that thread regarding why I am closing this.
