sorry if i sound like a noob but im new to painkillers but i have 10mg oxycontin and want instant release, i heard that even if you crush them up and sniff them or hotshot them there is another chem that still makes it gradual release, is this true or can i just snort them for the full instant hit?, also is snorting better than crushing up and putting them in water, ive tried googling etc but cant find exactly what i want to know, thanks

it depends on the brand, and since you're in ireland I have no idea what that would be. if it is the original oxycontin formulation, simply wet and wipe the coating to crush and snort. although its stronger orally the difference is negligible and i always preferred snorting until my tolerance required too much powder.

id advise crushing and dissolving in cola just because I've read that's an effective method for brands which gel; we only have original formulation in canada so I have no experience with the prior.

it depends what formulation of Oxycontin you have. If you have the traditional brand name "OC" formulation, simply wiping the coating off, and crushing will defeat the time release. Now, if you have the new "OP" formulation, then the built in time release matrix is very hard to defeat. There are a number of threads dealing with everything related to extracting/defeating the time release on these. Also, most generic oxycontins, such as the ABG or Endo or Mallincrodt ones gel when mixed with water so crushing them is not sufficient to defeat the tiem release very well.

I urge you to use the search engine, as there are literally thousands of threads regarding the basics of oxycontin. The effects, dosages, routes of administration, the time release issues, etc.

I guarantee if you take a little time and use our search function, and also browse the OD Directory, you will find exactly what you need.
