Oxycontin use causing speedball effect a day after amph use?

Gooddamit am not flaming your points are so stupid who gives a fuck? The best advice has been given to you get some sleep and stop smoking pills I advice you take it or there is a big chance you that you might die.

.I dont see why not only is it frowned upon around here, it also tickles peoples emotions i guess and makes them rage, not to mention the fact There are alot worse drugs on here that are openly accepted.

It's not the drug that is frowned upon it's the MOA. It is - hands down - the single most ineffective and harmful way of consuming your Oxy or any other drug. It's nothing to do with being "worse" than any other drug it's simply a horrible thing to do to your body and provides absolutely no benefit whatsoever. Bluelight is a harm reduction site so the members tend to advise people on the best (ie most efficient and least harmful) ways of using drugs. It's kinda the whole point of BL ;)

Now will you kindly post something Of any relevance to this post, or kindly Shut the fuck up..

Gonna disagree on the fact the Smoking Oxy is not the most ineffective high out there and not the most harmful drug to your body, id say the ineffective high is a personal opinion, not a fact. everybodys body is different and susceptible to different things. Hell, Cocaine doesnt get me high it just wakes me up..Went to a coke party, did the same product as the regular users did and didn't feel anything except For waking me up while they are fucked up all night. So Whats ineffective to one doesnt nessecarilly make it ineffecient to others. As for it being the most harmful, just off the top, Inhalants, specifically gasoline Are ALOT more dangerous. And im not contending to the fact That i dont like to be advised of things., its the way in which im advised and Singled out for those things. By one person or another.

Of course you could die from using any drug given the right (wrong) circumstances but that's not really the point, NS. Smoking pills is truly not worth it. As I said, I have smoked pills before (not Oxy cos we don't really get it in the UK, but codeine and Subutex amongst others) so I have some small experience of the subject. It's just so completely pointless. Even if you have no interest in choosing another MOA/ROA for your health's sake there's the financial factor to take into account - you are spending a lot of money to get a lot less high. It may feel like you are getting higher by smoking it but you honestly aren't.

It's a lil like inhaling straight woodsmoke or summat - you will get a rush and it will get you "high" (in a way) but it's not a drug that's producing the effect so much as the lack of oxygen and lungful of toxic crap that's making you feel that way. I've eaten, shot, plugged and smoked more opiates than it would seem feasible to do and smoking it's just a plain waste - truly.

EDIT: It honestly has nothing to do with the individual and their reaction - smoking pills is just incredibly ineffective. Has nothing to do with personal preference it's simply a fact whether you choose to believe it or not :)

Also, keep the flaming down a bit please, fellas. There's really no need for it. Debate away but there's no need for personal attacks :)

PS: Inhalents are definitely more dangerous cos they can kill instantly and cause irreversible brain damage. The toxic fumes you inhale when smoking pills will also cause irreversible damage that other MOA just don't - hence why people on BL tend to object to it so strongly.

how exactly did you smoke it and what was ur technique? Knowing EXACTLY what ur doing really helps alot..I'm not saying you, just in general. its Just like meth, you smoke it wrong ur gonna burn up ur shit faster then u would smoking properly(Thinking of more examples). But that is a plausible Theory about the Oxygen cut-off type rush except for i doubt it would also produce a high that lasts 3-4 hours and make me feel ''normal'' afterwards, otherwise u'd think alot Opiate addicts Would seriously do something like that on days with no fix. , and if this were truely ineffective as everyone said its not gonna have somebody who has been Popping all sorts of Opiate Painkillers(not oxy) on a monthly basis in a fairly nice dosage for about 6 years feeling better on a less of a dose smokin Oxy then i did popping pills. Im not disagreeing that its unhealthy and shouldn't be done, I'm just saying its very overrated in two topics that we are talking about, ineffectiveness(is that even a word? lol) and Wasted product.

E/ Yes but just like u said, and drug can Cause that, Under certain conditions and circumstance (bolded what u said, maybe not exact words, but same scenario) And I would love to see a study shown that Smoking Oxycodone is right up there with inhalants in reguards to causing brain damage.

I didnt read the whole thread, just the OPs question. And IMO opiates do sometimes cause fast heartrate. I was also suprised by this when I was new to opiates but after awhile I got use to it. It's pretty normal, especially with a stimulating opiate like OXY

I think you misinterepted something while reading. I've had way more then my fair share of opiates, its meth that im new to..And this is just not normal to me thats why i posted..Oxy doesnt stimulate me, it relaxes me and i start noddin if i do enough

Chased on tinfoil. And my technique was flawless I can assure you ;)

I didn't say it was as harmful as inhalents (cos it clearly isn't) but it is far more harmful than any other MOA.

By the oxygen deprivation/toxic fumes thing I meant that that is what gives you the initial rush - the 3-4 hours of feeling good afterwards will be the small amount of drug that actually makes it into your system unscathed :)

Your right, opiates relax people. but this has almost nothing to do with heart rate. Usualy Im not even aware of my heart rate. But if i do pay attention to it, I usually find it faster than normal. This has been the case with almost all the opiates Iv tried, especially with codeine. Heroin speeds up my heart rate at first but then slows it down after awhile.
And Oxy, IS indeed a stimulating opiate. Im sure most people on this site would agree. This dosnt mean that it's not relaxing, just means that one would have the urge to do things while on oxycodone. unlike heroin witch is more sedating(tho i do get motor mouth during the first half hour or so, then it becomes more noddy.).

About the meth, sorry I have no idea if it's related to the symptoms you mentioned(as i am also very inexperienced with it.).

I am sort of going through something similar, but no it is not a speedball affect... it is you just being all fucked up from doing too many drugs in a short period of time, or at least that's what it is for me.
I have been binging on some painkillers (vikes, percs, oxys) for about 2 and half to 3 weeks now, but skipping days here and there. I only dosed once a day and on the days I skipped I had no withdrawal symptoms. This is my first opiate binge and dosed dxm before about 50% of my doses.
Yesterday, after taking a day off from using 5 days straight, I did one (about-I didn't weigh it) 250mg meph oral dose (which isn't even a lot.) It was my second time doing meph. The first time I did the same amount had only a minor crash and slept fine that night.
This time I took 1mg klonipin afterward and even with the kpin, I was tossing and turning all night. Then today I was super depressed and anxious and couldn't even get myself to get out of bed. I smoked a ton of weed, but it only helped for a little while. Eventually I couldn't take it and used my last little bit of oxy and a couple of vikes.
Dude, taking mephedrone before going into oxy withdrawal was a stupid fucking idea. I feel like doing that made my withdrawal ten times worse than what it would have been.

How do I not follow threads?

I don't get it. I see replies years later.

Everyone in Portland started with oxy, pretty quickly smoking it. Now we all shoot/smoke heroin. Unless we're in prison.

Doesn't sound like the "speedball" effect.... I do meth occasionally, always combined w/oxy, and have never experienced any speedball effect-type feelings or symptoms when combining meth (smoked or snorted) and oxy (smoked or snorted). If it's only the 4th time you've tried meth, your body rhythms are prob just scrambled eggs still... unrelated to oxy. If you have xanax, a tiny nibble should ease your mind and straighten out your heart rate. But you should be fine without it, back to "normal" in a day or so.

For what it's worth, I'd definitely be careful combining cocaine with opiates, I've had a few unpleasant feelings from that cocktail. Never from meth + opiates. I don't have any hard science to back this up, but IMO meth appears to work differently than cocaine in a way that seems to make it far more agreeable in combination with other common recreational drugs.

Just fyi, I've never IV'd, so my advice and experience speak to snorting/smoking only, though I'd imagine the "speedball effect" is probably a more real concern if you're using intravenous administration, a true speedball.
