Has anyone ever come across oxycontin made by Rafa Laboratories from Israel? I have a script for 20mg oxycontin (says oxycontin on the box in english, hebrew, russian and arabic) for 2 a day along with 3x 10/325 percosets. The percosets work fine but the oxycontin which is supposed to give me long term relief does not at all. I tried an experiment last night to break one down but after washing the coating off all I got to was some sort of layer that can only be described as a rubbery plastic that when i pulled on it had elastic like qualities. I couldnt crush it. I tried heating it up with a blow dryer and it still wouldnt do anything.

Has anyone ever come across these before? The 20s are pink the 40s are yellow. Small round pills. No markings on them but they come in a tray like most medications do in israel.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Ps. I am very opiate tolerant. Ive been on fentanyl, methadone, oxy, buperenorphine, morphine sulfate IR etc for nearly 10 years. And i am younger than 30. Suffer from crohns disease and had a tumor which was thankfully able to be removed. So i know that there will be the usual comments about how its dangerous to cancel the time release but im asking for good reason. I have no percs left and I have been away on business and been standing for hours a day for the past few days and im in excruciating pain.

Thanks!

Hey, I can't answer your question but I just wanted to say my heart goes out to you as a crohns sufferer. I had colitis until last year when my colon gave up and I had to have it removed. But I'm told that colitis is a walk in the park compared to crohns from the people I've met as a result of my condition and I wouldn't want to wish that upon anyone.

I wonder if time release drugs are even suitable if you have crohns though, because of the rapid transit time in your digestive tract. I know I'm not able to use them now and it's even been recommended that I open gel caps and put them in water as even they might not have time to dissolve before I pass them...

i miss oxy in a way, used to be my favourite opiate, for the price of a bus or taxi journey, but i never used or heard of rafa labs during my whole time of using them

our standard distributor was NAPP

it sounds like you may have the non-abusable brand there (look up OP oxycontin for more info on it, i think there are ways to get around the time release gel)
all the best :)
