Oxycontin... IV that'll touch the sides so to speak...

Hey there, newbie to the forum here...
A quicky... Got a fairly regular tolerance (couple of 10bags a day) to the street H here in South London, just did 10mg of Oxycontin IV (Powder form, cooked up and put in a syringe) and got virtually nowt out of it... how much would you recommend to get a decent hit?

it depends on how bad your H habit is really, and when you last used it.

either way 10mg would not be overly empowering even to someone without a habit. The last time I did oxycodone I still had a mild heroin habit (say about 4-5 bags a day, although I would often go a day with none, then do like 6-8 the next day) and 30 mgs definitely got me slightly fucked up, but I could tell it was downplayed because of the dope.

And 30mg used to get me very trashed back in the day, so if you were already doing dope I'd start out around there and maybe just try it orally and see if that is an better for you?
 
Never heat pills. I can't recommend any dosage since I have no idea how much mg 10 bags are and even if I did I still wouldn't know the potency.

10mg oxy didn't even get me high when I was new to opiates by the way.
 
I used to love to IV oxy, but after getting used to heroin, oxy is very lacking. I need at least 30mg, preferably twice that, to even notice I took anything, and even then there's no rush like with dope.
 
IVing pills without a proper filter is a really bad idea, pills are filled with binders and fillers that a cotton will not filter out.
Also, Oxycontin is designed to be taken orally... you're not going to get much more bang for your buck by shooting it and it's not going to produce a rush.
If you're going to continue to take oxycodone, I advise taking it orally. And you're going to need to take a lot more...
Using an opiate conversion on this site is going to be your best bet to find dosage. If you have access to the 80mg pills I'd start with one of those though.
 
40mg will be enough to feel it if you've only got a couple bag tolerance, it depends if you're used to doing most of those 2 bags in 1 or 2 big shots or do prefer to put less in each shot so you get to do more of them? If you're used to doing big shots then 80mg might be more the level you need to be at to feel it properly.
 
Thanks for the response... I've got a bundle of these Oxys and to be honest, swallowing them (up to 10 at a time) doesn't seem to do shit. Hence me trying the IV route. And yeah, I only use maybe two bags of H a day, so go figure... tolerance is a bitch... time to start on the Fentanyl gel!
Oh and btw, I kinda have what they call a needle fixation... not happy unless I'm piercing my skin - get a bit desperate every now and then, hence the IV-ing of Oxys... right now I have a couple of Fentanyl patches (50s, gel reservoir) and about 10 oxys left. See my social worker on Tues, also DoleMole day, so I'll use then. Sweating like a fucking pig right now... total withdrawal... bad stomach, shits etc... Man, just getting on a bus to see my dealer gives me heaves of anticipation... Anyway, ciao!

Crush up the Oxy into powder and eat it.
 
Even if you could break the time release, there is no way to seperate the polystirex from the oxy without using a micron. Using a cotton will draw up all the extended release plastic u crushed which is NOT suitable to IV without a micron
 
Oh, and don't even think about shooting that fentanyl.

You didn't even bother to find out what you equivalent oxy dose is, bioavailability information.... You might just kill yourself if you do the same thing with fentanyl, and quite possibly even if you do the math.
 
The Oxys are already in powder form, anyway, I've kinda put them to the side for now. I'll use them for when I'm really really really feeling sick - when I know my tolerance is dropping and my body's totally screaming in craving agony. I never thought much of them, probably through junkie snobbery. And yeah, I'll stick to eating them...

I've started using the Fentanyl. With MUCH caution, after reading virtually everything on here about it. I just evaporated the water (and any alcohol?) from the gel by placing it on a ceramic bathroom tile (washed with antibiotic soap & then also wiped clean with alcohol). It dried to a thin layer of what looked like almost nothingness. I then got my razor blade and started scratching it off the surface so I was left with shavings. I then divided it by 4 (roughly, by eye). It was too small to weigh on conventional scales, even my expensive sensitive microgram scales. So anyway, I put a portion (1/4) of shavings in my spoon with a little citric and about 50ccs of water, warmed it gently and then shot it home. I shot a little bit first, then the rest when I felt safe (when I could feel it hit). It worked wonderfully! I must say I was a little perplexed at all the posts referring to the Fentanyl being nothing like Heroin. I found it to be JUST like Heroin, just... cleaner! Ok, so maybe it didn't last as long as a Heroin buzz, and the rush wasn't quite as intense. But I could feel myself get that warm opiate buzz in seconds. So yeah, very happy bunny indeed. I'll use with extreme caution. I don't have much to last me, and I doubt I'll be able to get some again, at least, for a long while. So I'll probably keep hold of my last two shots for later use.
Regarding the Oxy's - Please don't think I don't bother to work out what's a suitable dose, I've had them in the past and they never really did much for me then either. I just make sure I start on low doses and monitor the results as I increase (if I need to increase). I know I didn't mention anything in the earlier post and that was a bit stooopid of me.
 
The advice you've received here is mostly accurate and good. There is no need to IV oxy as other ROAs are safer, and close to as effective. In regard to fentanyl the line of calculating an accurate dose is dificult, and overdose is much more prominant than with other opiate / opioids even with more conventional ROAs.

Shooting it is foolish even with a tolerance, and perceived safe prep. The line between high and dead is razor thin.

Lastly, I can not stress enough that if you feel this is going wrong in any way and you are on the verge of overdose, contact emergency medical services immediately.
