Oxycontin and Roxicodone Question

I know they're both oxycodone but one is immediate release(Roxi) and the other is extended release(Oxy)

My question is let's say 15mg of Roxi is the perfect amount, what would equal this amount in terms of using Oxycotin? (20,40,60,80)?
I also hear you don't get a rush similar to Roxi, is this true?

Both of them are oxycodone. Roxicodone is the brand name for Instant Release (IR) oxycodone and Oxycontin the the brand name for ER oxycodone. 20mg of oxy is equal to 20mg of oxy. One will just last 3-5x as long. You can't really tread this water....

^ couldn't have explained it better. For me with the OPs oxy I had to take more them ivwould for roxis. I took 30 mgs compared to the 15-20 I usually take. The OPs suck tho.

I'd with 20 if you got the OP oxys

This isn't a harm reduction question but in my experience, I had to double I amount of oxy op I took compared to ir.

Like if I was taking 30-40mgs at one time, I would atleast an 80mg oxy OP to get me good.even then I didn't really feel high.

IMO/IME, oxy Op isnt really recreational which is a huge let down because the oxy Oc used to be the shit! If I were you, I wouldbt waste money on the OPs if you can get roxi. If u can't and are getting sick, the OP will get you straight all day, which is one good thing Bout the xr.

Thanks for the inputs...so I take it, it would be better to just get roxicodone and just redose instead of trying to go for the drop one time and have all day feeling.

Depends if you're using it to get high or for pain.

I'd redose with the roxi or dose high the first time and the effects will last longer

OPs are almost universally less desired than Roxis, between both legitamate and non-legit users

If it helps, when I first started opiates I would LOVE taking an OP80 instead of a 30mg IR. I might have taken 80mg ER instead of 60mg IR!

Now that I have snorted so many more pills, and IV'd a few times; I have found myself quite disappointed when I would take an ER. I don't do opiates alot and have almost no tolerance now, but when I do ER pills, because I have felt what a real rush it they will have little effects. Originally, LOVED THEM. First 6 hours felt like a rush.

are you taking it for pain or to get high? my script is for 15mg roxi and 20mg oxycontin... the oxycontin will never get you high ... i have taken 4 or 5 of them in one day sometimes 2 at a time when i have run out of the roxis and it just wont get you high period... if u take them for pain then take the oxycontin and then the roxi every 4-5 hrs and this will get rid of that i need more feeling in between doses of roxi... if you only have the choice to get one or the other definitely go for the roxis whether it be for pain or high... i do not find the 20mg oxycontin to be equal to the 15 mg roxi... if they existed i would wish to be rx'ed 30mg oxycontin... im gonna ask for 40mg oxy at my next dr visit cuz i feel the 20mg is just short of where i need to be im not sure i need the full 40mg but liek i saiod the 30mg dont exist so thats that... hope that helps
