Opioids oxycontin and oxycodone difference?

i wander about the difference between oxycontin 40mg mundiphama and oxycodone 80mg GL pharm. For some reason they costed me the same. Havent used them but whats the deal here? wasnt supposed oxycodone to be ir? IR dose so big? and also why the 80mg didnt cost me more?
Am i missing something here?
Also how should i take them? If both are ER, how would i bypasss that? just crush and snort?

Codone like oxycodone means the drug without any changes which would alter its delivery. Without any changes the drug effects an individual at whatever rate they metabolize through their chosen roa effectively “instant” Meaning no mechanisms to delay the drugs distribution into the body.
