Oxycontin-1st time...this can't be IT?
Alright so I had an interesting time picking up what were supposed to be 2 40 mg Oxycontin pills- you can read about it in the drug culture section. I couldn't believe how small the pills were for the punch they are supposed to pack. I had tiny light orange ones with "40" and "OC" stamped on either side, just like the pillid thing showed.
No prior experience with oxycontin/oxycodone, only hydrocodone occassionally.
The prior night, I took 37.5 mg hydrocodone (1/2 of my bounty)
I've never sniffed anything in my life before, but I had to do these Oxy's the proper way. I had planned to only consume 20mg, so I chopped a pill in half, wet a paper towel and washed the shell off it. I then crushed it, pretended like I was Scarface, and snorted that pile through my makeshift tooter. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, my nose & sinuses didn't appreciate of course, but I got that "drip" after a bit.
And then...I didn't really feel too much of anything, so I railed the other half after 20 minutes 8( Then, I kinda felt a very subtle opiate thing, but nothing like my soaring hydrocodone experience the night before. I was thinking how I've heard 1stimers aren't supposed to do more than 20-30 mg, but I was very dissappointed so far. I broke the other pill in half and snorted half that then drove to pick my friend up.
After we got back, I could kinda feel something opiate happening in me but nothing strong. My eyes were relatively pinned but I was hardly awash with the euphoria I've heard of. So...I insufflated my last half pill, 20 mg more, bringing my total to 80 mg in 3 hours. Now uh....shouldn't I be dying or something? My eyes were red and pinned but the only thing I really felt was a headache from sniffing all that powder and slightly nauceaus at times. I did definately feel that opiate activity going on but it was not intense in the slightest.
Throughout the evening, I found myself (still) with a huge headache and having to puke at times. Smoking bud actually made it worse
Was I expecting too much? Is it really just that subtle when you sniff it? The hydrocodone I've taken in the past has always been stronger than this. Did I just get bunk Oxy's? Or does this happen where sometimes you don't get high the first time?

for me. It's hard for me NOT to recognise a narcotic buzz. The original poster did howveer say that he/she enjoyed hydrocodone, so i imagine with the right dose/route, the person could enjoy oxy. Oxy imo makes hydro seem like cheap beer.
