Hey, I used to do a lot of opiates but ive been sober from them for 2 years now. Three days ago I started back up and got some roxies, at first I took half a 30mg pill, and it did nothing almost at all. So I snorted half and it got me good, but the thing is I have had to snort like 15-25mgs of it to get a good buzz every time and I had no tolerance. Is that odd? To have such a high natural tolerance? Ive been doing a lot of it per day like 50-60mgs and people online say with no tolerance 5-10 should be fine orally??

Should I be worried about overdosing? What are some of the symptoms of a coming overdose?

hold up, you took it orally and felt nothing? or you took it orally, felt nothing, then railed it and felt something?

because it takes longer to kick in orally

as far as symptoms of an overdose, thats the million dollar question man

If you used to do a lot of opiates then you should have an accurate idea of when you are in dangerous territory. As for the dosage you needed, some people maintain I higher tolerance than others if they used to use a lot. Like I could probably never get off on 15mg of hydrocodone no matter how long of a break I take, and if I do manage to get high from that, the next time I would need more.

I am not sure what the LD50 of oxycodone is, but as long as you don't mix it with other CNS depressants (benzos, alcohol, etc) you should be fine as long as you don't take doses way beyond normal.
 
If you've abused opiates in the past, after a couple of years your tolerance wiill greatly diminsh, but it will never completely return to where it was at prior to using.

As far as overdosing is concerned, if you've taken a lot of opiates in the past, you should know your tolerance and how much is too much. Be safe and dose more carefully
 
^ Wow. I can get really high off of 40mg of oxycodone if I take a year off. Like I said before though I would probably need 60mg the next day, or if I took 40mg again the high wouldn't last nearly as long as the time before.
