Opioids Oxycodone XR vomiting ?

Hello.

Everytime, around 5 hours after ingesting oxycodone XR,
a bit after the peak,

I have to run to the toilet to vomit like a demon.
It comes up suddenly and its pretty hardcore, but it lasts only a minute.
This time i vomited twice. The second time was pure water really.
Cause i drank water after vomiting the first time.

Does this sound like the typical type of vomiting one can expect from opiates,
or could it be that it is the extended release thing that makes me sick... cause it sits so long in the stomach?

I also want to know which meds or methods might help in preventing this kind of thing.
I do oxy about once a week so it's not that big of a problem,
but it would be even better without the vomiting.

My dose is 2x10mg XR spaced 90mins in between,
And gets me high as hell.

It is pretty common to vomit if you have no tolerance. Id down your dosage to just one 10mg.

youre taking too much with no tolerance. This used to happen to me when I first started.

i dont think 2 x 10 mg xr is too much if it gets u feeling good otherwise. vomiting and nausea are common side effects for some people when they take opiates. maybe try 1 and see how it goes, but otherwise, i dont think this is anything to worry about. the vomiting might go away after a few more times, but def dont increase your frequency or anything to try and achieve this result.

sounds like you just did to much. ive gotten nausea from doing more then i should, so just slow it down and you should be good.

maybe try eating first as well.

Take a gravol 3 or so hours into the high, before the nausea usually hits, which should prevent it.

Take some Promethazine with it man it will stop the nausea and itching along with increase the euphoria. Trust me Promethazine is a wonderful drug with opiates. I take 1 25mg with 5 30mg Roxies and I'm blasted.

allright.
nice to see the type of nausea i describe is typical for opiates.

i will use some anti nausea stuff next time.
or maybe try 10mg but i'm not sure if thats as pleasurable.

with 20mg i just lay down in the bed and listen to Lisa Gerrard and i'm in total bliss.
i want to keep doing opiates forever... but keep it to once a week.

in order to minimize tolerance and other addiction factors.
the second dose still feels nice but after a third dose the euphoria is not as pure anymore.

how do you jump straight to giving that as advice?

OP, dont fight fire with fire, just try not to think about it and realize it happens to a lot of people who take opiates. Can't say I've never yacked in a parking lot somewhere, but I always felt 1000 times better afterwards

5 30's lol its crazy when i hear the doses people take on here.. but i would just down the dose. if u take promethazine it will prob knock ya out. i wish i could puke these days =(

Its called tolerance man and i don't advise on taking that much oxycodone like me but after 4 years of getting 200 30s a month lets just say i have a high tolerance . But to be honest allot of docs prescribe promethazine with narcotics because you can take less of the narcotic and it stops the itch and nausea. It is a safe mix especially if doctor prescribe it. But like anything you can over due it .

the ones who were saying i took the much are right.
if i go over 10 mg i get nauseous.

it's weird because sometimes i dont feel euphoric on them,
just intoxicated.

and if i take 10mg the day after, the high will start out pretty euphoric,
and 3 hours into the high i'll get a long awesom nod.

i guess i'm Lucky i'm sensitive to drugs & dont have a tolerance.
i've done oxycodone 13 times in 61 days and my tolerance is still like a virgin :D
