Opioids Oxycodone withdrawal / what’s next

So recently swim been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that cause severe inflammation and gastrointestinal pain. Oxycodone has been my best friend for this but also a double edged sword.

Swim now 50hrs into a 30mg per day for 2 months use of oxy… swim hurting about a 6-7… have a script for anything under the sun (in the us) so all suggestions are welcome please.
Today so far:
30mg Valium
25mg ket troche
50mg Hydroxyzine
300mg gabapentin for my RLS and just restlessness all over
Been smoking a Pure Kush full spectrum kart all day and taking RSO only 5-10mg doses every 6hrs or so… any other suggestions. Wanted to get through without any buprenorphine or kratom but swim considering it now. Any and all recommendations welcome please and thank you!
I'd consider using Kratom. I know I would, its so easy to taper off of once you clear the Oxy wds. I get PAWs something fierce and Kratom is the only thing that'll keep me somewhat calm/comfortable where I can concentrate on getting better. Although it sounds like you have enough meds on hand. Just give yourself some time you'll start coming around.

Totally fine actually... thanks for asking! only symptoms are running nose and lack of energy... just a bit worried still that the buprenorphine set me back but swim thinking it acted as more of a pillow for the fall.. we will see swim suppose.

Ah that’s great, glad to hear it!
Feeling low (energy and/or mood) is to be expected. The runny nose is par for the course too.

as someone mentioned, the 1.5mg of bupe is actually a stronger than the 30mg of oxy you were taking.
I think we were both confused as to why your doctor would choose a bupe plan for you in the first place - especially one that put you up to 8mg. Overkill indeed! It may be masking some of your physical symptoms, but I feel that overall, it shouldn’t be too drawn out you :).

How long had you gone without oxy when you took the bupe?

what way would you suggest supplienting kratom because last time i tried it just got rid of withdrawls but didnt help with cravings which maybe is what its supposed to do?

50 hrs and I know my docs are very lose with scripts

Do you have more history with oxy use/dependency?
Yes in the past have had bits of abuse but really for managing pain and could never get a script because when I was young I OD on Fent (coma for 4 days an time of death) so no pain meds for me ever… I deal with chronic GI issues

Anhedonia is really never stressed enough. I once laughed at such notions but it’s definitely very real over time. Once the physical withdrawl has abated, it is typically the beast of anhedonia that keeps me in the vicious cycle. Especially if you don’t fill the void which has been created once one is no longer living to fix and chase that dragon. The boredom and monotony of our shit society leads to nothing but dreams of escape from this invisible prison.

Yeah.. that’ll get ya blacklisted ..

Feel free not to answer, I’m just curious. but your new doctors are more sympathetic? Or..? Was it your choice to come off?

I completely understand where you’re coming from. I created quite the mess for myself over the years… I’m on a pretty high dose of suboxone. My last relapse was pretty significant, i blew my life up.
I hear you. It’s not easy, that’s for sure.

Worst part is that I had never taken a opioid recreationally before too… it was my first time and boom… but that’s another story. Sympathetic in what regard? And choice to come off what? Oxy? (Apologies if I’m a bit slow the comfort/detox meds have me a bit wonky)

A friend of mines grandmother once told me that an idol mind is the devils playground… boy do I understand that

Haha no worries, I just reread; and it didn’t make much sense.lol

What I meant was, since you have a lot of GI problems, your doctors must have seen that you legitimately needed a pain med.. A LOT would watch someone’s arm fall off, and still be like “Tylenol should cover it”.

Was it your choice to come off the oxy, or were you taken off without having a say in the matter?

Cravings are going to last way longer than withdrawals ime, thats something your going to have to work on in the long run. You dont just get sober and dont crave opiates anymore, it doesnt work like that ime. Kratom just helps with the discomfort from post acute withdrawals for me, just enough to relax a bit.

It took me years to put away my opiate cravings. Even after H and 6 years of Methadone cravings was still there. After bouts of Fentanyl and overdoses I just don't have it in me anymore.

my choice because of how fast my tolerence builds and how fast i have to detox... such a cycle

OP please don't take kratom you'll just get addicted. Your dose is low, just suffer through the 2-3 days of mild flu and be done with it.

Already took 1.5mg 2 days ago of bup and completely eliminated the withdrawals… I’m hoping it just buffered them as opposed to reset them

Yessir! Idle hands are the devils work shop. It means your capable of very bad shit but there's another side to that your also capable of a lot of good/positive things to. It's up to you what you do with it.
