Opioids Oxycodone & Tramadol

Hey all.

Just a quick one, is it safe to mix Oxycodone and Tramadol? I'm not risking SS from this combo am I? Cheers guys.

It increases risk of SS a bit more than tramadol by itself, but as long as your dose of tramadol is reasonable you'll be fine.

I'm currently on 120mg of Oxycodone a day. Would it be safe to take the 400mg daily limit of Tramadol?

Probably, as long as you also don't take any antidepressants or antipsychotics, but impossible for me to say everyone is different.

You should familiarize yourself with the beginning symptoms of serotonin syndrome. The main danger with tramadol is people don't recognize the initial symptoms and take more opioids to counteract the discomfort which makes the SS even worse.
