Oxycodone to Oxymorphone

Hello,

I am an occassional user of oxycodone and my tolerance has reached 90-100mg to reach desired effects. I have come across one 10mg oxymorphone instant-release pill that I intend to insufflate. Will this provide effects similar to my usual 90-100mg of oxycodone? Will it be stronger? Weaker? Looking for some guidance. Thanks.

this is purely off the top of my head as i don't use oxy but i thought oxymorphone was about twice as strong as a oxycodone.

One 10mg tab should be weaker. Its a bit hard to compare as no intranasal or intranasal to oral comparison charts exist, but using the charts we have (which arent perfect either), and through personal experience, I would say a bit more (15mg maybe) is closer but start low and go slow as always. Try 5mg first. You could always take more.

You'll OD quite easily by trying to get good dose out of oxymorphone. 4mg IV oxymorphone equals 100mg oxycodone PO, but 60mg PO oxymorphone equals 100mg oxycodone PO.

There are too big variables in nasal BA and strength difference between those two so it can't be used respectively.

i've a decade of experience with both OC and OM - you'll need to snort at least 40mg of oxymorphone to feel about the same as 100mg as oxycodone... and still, it will not be as euphoric.

You very well may be correct but as MrRoot said, intranasal BA of opioids isnt a largely studied topic and better to not suggest so much to start.
