Okay so I have some oxycodone (5mg) AND oxycontin (20 mgOP). I have far more oxycontin than oxycodone. (enough for a week atleast) What I am wondering is how many oxycontin should I take to get the same high as I have been getting. I normally take 1 oxycontin and 1 1/2 oxycodone, sometimes more, sometimes less. I know that oxycontin is a slow steady release for about 12 hours but I don't know much beyond that, I don't know if it would be too much to try two oxycontin with out oxycodone and I've looked online a ton for the answer and haven't found it. Thanks in advance.

It's both the same thing. They are both oxycodone. Oxycontin is just a brand name for time-release oxycodone.

Taking 2 OP's instead of a 5mg IR and 1.5 20mg OP's is only a difference of 5-10mg, which will be timed release so it's not going really make a huge deal. But just be careful because you're just going to keep upping the dose to get the desired effect as your tolerance will jack right up.

And on that note, you mention you have enough for a week - it is a tricky and dangerous game since using for several days in a row can easily put you into withdrawal and using continuously WILL not only put you into withdrawal but also jack your tolerance right up.

It might seem manageable for now but any oxy user with a tolerance of 100mg or 200mg or 500mg started at 5-10-20mg. Tread wisely.
