Oxycodone to Fentanyl question

does it last 3 days? That doesnt seem high w a 240mg dose. In the hospital they started me at 75mcg when they didnt know anythng about my tolerance. I was in for Noro Virus, Ecoli, and Sepsis. They just happend to catch my heart not pumping blood (30% ejection Fraction) or id be dead now. So many reason I should be dead.
Im sorry I didnt mean to go off on a tangent.

Coming from an oral oxycodone dose of 240mg a day, a 50mcg/hr fentanyl would be insufficient. So would 75mcg/hr. You would need an 100ug/hr patch to be close to 240mg/day oral oxycodone.

A 50mcg/hr fentanyl patch will significantly lessen the withdrawal, but it's far from equivalent to 240mg/day oral oxycodone.

Is it safe to use a 3-day 50mcg fentanyl patch from 240mg/d oxycodone? cheers
240 mg oxy a day is equivalent to 360 morphine. 50 mcg/hr transdermal patch is only 120 a day. Oxy is 3/2 (1,5 times) the strength of morphine. Where fentanyl is 2.4 time stronger than morphine. To equal the amount of oxy you take you need a total150 mcg/hr trans patch. 1 100 mcg/hr and a 50 mcg/hr. You should verify with opioid calculator. Just Google opioid calculator. You'll want to start with the 50 mcg/hr to see how your body handles it. If your body handles it ok, move up by 25 to 50 mcg. Well, that's what I'd do. if possible, try to get Mylan manufacturer. I forget the other manufacturer but their patches have more side affects, like urgency and not being able to urinate.
