Hi everyone, I've been away from oxycodone for 2months , for 3 weeks I was on suboxone 2 mg low, I was wondering wut kind of with drawl will I feel if I take sum oxycodone for a day, I fun wana go into withdrawl all over again and have to start over. Will it completely ruin my recovery if I use on a rare basic?? P.s I've been an opiate user for a year 120 mg day habit but now I'm clean I'm not sure if the suboxone withdrawl making me still crave? Confused any advice appriciated

how long has it been since you've used suboxone?
if you haven't used suboxone in a week or more you could theoretically take oxycodone once and not go into withdrawal.

that being said, in my experience, once an addict, always an addict. I was clean for 3 months and after I relapsed, I managed to make it a once a week thing for about a month until I was back to doing it daily again

be safe, and good luck

I wined of suboxone and been of completely for a month, for the first week I felt outa place , could I still be going through minor suboxone withdrawl since it's a slow acting opiate

it doesn't last that long, what you are experiencing is called post acute withdrawal (PAW). It's basically your brain chemistry trying to get back to normal. This can last months depending on how long you used and how much you used.

I just google acute withdrawl, it's so true i can't even find pleasure in working out, how long could these system last plz don't say months to decades, i've been using ecstasy for 2 years, oxy for a year, suboxone for a month , and clean for a month , on and off mostly on

I mean even after the PAWS goes away you still might find yourself depressed. Alot of people I know are dealing with depression up to 2 years after stopping. It takes along time for the brain chemicals to correct themselves.

And then when they do correct themselves you might find yourself dealing with boredom and depression from being clean. Try to avoid both of those because they lead to allotta relapses. With not doing pills, and not constantly trying to come up with money and find the pills you can easily find yourself feeling empty or bored.

I always find when I get clean for a few month by that time I always have made a ton of money so that's what makes me feel its ok to do more I'm getting clean for the second time now.down to 20 mg of methadone a day anot at a clinic but my advice to you is if your only truly one month clean I wouldn't take anything at all bc you most Likly will end up with a daily habit again
