Opioids Oxycodone question

I did something really really stupid/bad, and I just want to apologize and to be clear I did a wrong thing. But I have some questions about Oxycodone. I have a friend who is a medical doctor. He wrote me a prescription for some Valium. I only take the valium once...maybe twice a week tops on a rare occasion. Usually once. I take it because one day of the week I have to get up very early and I need the valium in order to get to sleep early and wake up early.

In return I was going to get him some Oxy's (he wrote me a prescription). I know this is wrong and I should not have done it but...Well, the laws have changed and even with a doctors prescription I could not get it for him. So I offered to get it for him illegally. It was very expensive. Supposedly it came from a compounding pharmacy.

My question is, how do I know it is real? I don't have much experience with opioids. I have only taken them after surgery (as prescribed) and never really got high. I took one 30 mg capsule and just felt a little something so I opened up a second one and did half...waited a while and took the other half. Oh boy did I get high. But again, I don't have much experience, never really been high like that but 60 mgs hit me hard. The next day I did a urine self test and it came back positive for opioids, but it did not say what kind.

Does it sound like what I received was real?

Again....I totally regret doing this and am fine with being called an idiot. But does it sound like the 60 mgs I took was real Oxcontin's? I am a bigger guy, well over 200 lbs.
 
Where are u from ? I dunno whether Fentanyl comes back positive for opioids but if u are in the States it s definitely an option.Plus, was it crushable or not? Oxycontins are almost impossible to crush ( I use oxypinal, the Brazilian version). I ve a huge tolerance but if you are not that experienced with oxys it makes sense that u were high with 60 mgs of oxys IF it was real. anyway I had just been opioid and coke free for a couple of weeks and here I am again, so who am I to call you an idiot? Just please stay safe and especially if you are from the US avoid buying opioids or get yourself some of that stuff to check whether what you re getting it s fentanyl. Maybe try to stay content with less powerful opis or opis like stuff like, dunno, codeine ( if your doctor friend can get the ral thing ) or kratom , anything that s not straight from the pharmacy is dangerous.
 
I love Kratom. Take 5 grams 4 days a week. I don't really get high just feel good and have energy to take my dog for a run.

The Oxy capsules contain a powder. They are made by a legit compounding pharmacy so they are probably putting raw powder into the capsules.

I stopped coke/meth all that kind of stuff nearly 30 years ago (and alcohol). I am terrified of developing an opioid habit on one hand...on the other I have had 5 pretty major surgeries and taken it as prescribed and never had a problem. I have also been in a few situations where I really needed a painkiller and did not get them because doctors are so paranoid.

One time I had severe pneumonia and needed cough syrup and my doc let me suffer. Another time I had hernia surgery and was in a lot of pain. I checked my prescription and the doc only gave me 5 mg hydrocodones (should have given me 10 mg) every 4-6 hours. Before the opiod hysteria I had major surgeries and always got adequate pain meds.

Things are crazy nowadays. As I said...I was really high from 60 mgs. Also...the 30 mgs are very expensive, going for $30.

I love Kratom as well, it really saved my life during some of the darkest moments of my addiction to oxys ( we re talking 300 mgs per day just to feel human ) .But here in Brazil the government banned the thing from the beginning of 2024 ( because as you can imagine freaking KRATOM is the real issue down here) and my wife threw away my stash in one of her coke induced deliriums ( " Let s clean the house!!!" really one of the worst moments of our 10 years relationship....)

Good for you. Meth is not a thing down here , I ve basically stopped drinking since I moved from th UK to Brazil but cocaine has been a big issue in my household, and still is to certain extent. Usually if you take opis as prescribed , for a short period of time and for legit reasons you don t get w-d, and the situation in the US as far as I ve heard really sucks for pain patients ( down here as well, but if you have some money and know where to go down here you can buy pretty much anything). I guess you are at least in your 40-50 ´s ( almost 42 myself ) and trust me, you don t want to be addicted to opioids, the older you get the more it sucks .
If you are 100% sure that is not some fentashit AND if you have the will power to keep it as a once in a bluemoon thing, what can I say, I ve had 100 mgs this morning and I m sipping Sprite with codeine atm so who am I to judge you, just beware because at least in my case the tolrance skyrockets very quickly ( like if I take oxys everyay for a week, on Monday I m cool with 80-100 mgs then the monday after I need at least 150 or more).

Good for you. Meth is not a thing down here , I ve basically stopped drinking since I moved from th UK to Brazil but cocaine has been a big issue in my household, and still is to certain extent. Thanks for the response. Yes I am much older....60 year old bodybuilder. I have never really been high off opioids like I was the other day when I took 60 mg. It was ridiculous...I was snuggling with my pit bull telling her how much I loved her, LOL. My wife was asleep, probably a good thing. She never does drugs and does not approve of me doing so.

I never understood the appeal, but now I do. But as mentioned I am scared shitless after all the horror stories I have heard. If you could just do it once a week, but that is how addictions start, yeah?

And they were crazy expensive. I was supposed to ay less than $25 for a 30 mg capsule and got shorted so it ended up being close to $30 USD a pill, an expensive proposition. But of course that sort of thing happens on the black market. Many drug stores here don't even carry them anymore.
 
FWIW, I quit taking oxys about 4yrs ago and even then the standard street price was $1/mg...some folks charged more than that.
This was in the US.

Yeah they are crazy expensive. I had to buy a lot to get the price down to 25.
 
60 mg would have me twacked (even back when i took the little fuckers, 20ish mg is where i maxed out, not that i ever developed a real habit with them). The fact that they are caps makes them substantially easier to fake. I say don't give opioids that you didn't get from a pharmacy to your friend. Could end up bad even if (big if) they're real.
