I was wondering if you can smoke it?
Cause ive smoke oxy cotin before n I felt hella good,but can u smoke oxycodone???

Smoking Oxycontin is stupid enough, AND a waste....But what you have are PERCOCETS, oxycodone mixed with Tylenol, which would be even worse....DO NOT SMOKE PILLS

oxycodone is the active ingredient in oxycontin so yes you could smoke them but don't do it because I'm guessing your pills are generic percs which have tylenol in them and you don't want to smoke all that. As everyone else has said smoking pills is unhealthy and the most ineffecient way to use oxycodone

u can snort or eat them.... but being 5mg they prob have at least a few hundred mgs of Acet which is bad for your liver let alone nose or lungs. If it was a pure OXY or ROXY you could prob smoke it cause there are less filleres. I wouldnt smoke it........ the Bioavailibility is much higher if you eat them......

Man there are a lot of mis-informed people in this thread. Oxycodone is the active drug taht is in roxis. It is the same active chemical that is found in percocets, and Oxycotin. I just had to correct someone at work recently. The medication(pill) is not called oxycodone, it is called "percocets", "Oxycontin", "roxicodone". The drug that you are getting high off of that is found in these medications(pills) is called Oxycodone.

But in general its a bad idea to try to smoke pills. They are not in a for that is meant to be smoked.

You can get rid of the majority of the fillers with a CWE, if at the end of the process you leave the liquid in the fridge for a few hours with out disturbing it, some sediment will fall to the bottom and leave the liquid almost completely clear. Pour off the clear liquid being careful not to disturb the sludge at the bottom*. The clear liquid you will pour into a glass pan that has lots of surface area and then let it dry in a cool dark place. After a few hours or sometimes a day or two use a razor blade and scrape up the crystallized powder. This will be almost mostly oxycodone with a small amount of apap. You still should not smoke this.

* if you are like me, you can eat that sludge while you are waiting for the solution to dry. Note this is not the shit you filtered off during the CWE process. This is the stuff that settled int eh glass AFTER the CWE process and leaving the glass set in the fridge.

If your question is literally whether or not it is physically possible to cause an oxycodone pill to combust, and then inhale the vapors? Then the answer would be of course yes.
If, however, you're asking whether smoking oxycodone pills is an effective and or safe way to use them, then the answer is NO.
This may be entirely possible with pure oxycodone base or salt, however in the inetrest of HR I cannot recommend anyone attemptimg to smoke/vaporize oxycodone in any form.

Yes, Oxycodone IS whats in Roxicodone. He was probably thinking Oxycontin which is the time release Oxycodone.

I think that smoking oxy could be a good ROA IF you could freebase it, due to it hitting you faster....I use it as directed for chronic Crohns related pain and I actually need it, but sometimes I wish it would hit me faster. I hate being in pain (imagine that). Pills dont smoke well though and I dont imagine you would want to burn pure oxy either.

Assuming this is a preparation rather than synthesis (edit if otherwise) what would it take to make a form that vaporizes?

If your taking it for legitimate pain and need it to hit you faster try crushing it and taking on an empty stomach. If taken by legitimate prescription it is not wise to begin smoking or snorting, this sends you down a dangerous path where it takes increasingly larger amounts to reach the same effect and is harmful to your health. You really do not need to be causing yourself more harm if your taking it for an illness daily. Daily smoking or sniffing would be very unhealthy

You seem to be confusing your nouns and verbs. "Freebasing" something is basically a crude vaporization, and would be an ineffective way to consume the oxy hcl salt. A "Freebase" molecule is one that is literally free of a counterion and is thus (usually) more volatile and suitible to vaporizing. It is also much less stable(as with amines & other groups, that lone pair of electrons hanging off the N tends to grab onto any rouge O atoms and basically ruin the drug), which is why salts are the de facto drug types.
Vaporizing oxycodone freebase would probably work, however I have little confidence in the average OD poster's ability to do even a sample a\b reaction. (No offense to anyone in particular of course)

In short, don't "freebase"(smoke/vap) your oxy pills.

I am aware of what you are saying. I take mine under the tongue slightly chewed for a faster effect. Swallowing, even parachuted just isnt fast enough.

Oxycodone isnt my primary pain medication though. My long acting is morphine 2x per day....but I do not get 12 hours of effect from it. That leaves a gap unless I stagger my doses.


If I had something that could stop my pain in 15 seconds instead of 10 minutes I would be thrilled. That is why a smokeable opiate would be better for me for breakthrough pain, and it would just have to last long enough for the MS Contin to kick in.

Im not interested in burning pills though. Im jut a curious guy who likes to think about stuff.

It never ceases to amaze me. Modern science has given us a near perfect oral pill. 87% BA. And every time I check BDD at least one person wants to know how to smoke/snort/plug/inject it. To each his or her own I suppose.
