Oxycodone Q

I have been lucky and aquired some oxycodone I was given 2 x 20mg OxyNorm IR and 2 x 40mg OxyContin. I took the 2 Oxynorm today by eating them, I was tempted on IV but was unable to access the internet to discover how to IV them properly etc, so I just swallowed them.
I am prescribed 50mg of methadone a day so I was not expecting anything major from 40mg of Oxy, unfortunately nothing major would of been better as they had no effect what so ever my eyes were not even pinned.
This was early today before I'd taken my methadone, so I was expecting to notice some minor opiate like effects but alass, nothing.
Now, I know I have got quite a tollerence to opiates as I have a IV heroin habbit, but I was expecting to feel something maybe even pinned eyes if f'all anything else. As oxy is extremely hard to come by in this area and I suspect in the rest of the UK, I do not want to waste the remaining 80mg. Could anyone tell me what a good dose is for someone with a opiate tollerance and do you think that I should take my methadone before I take the oxy this time as my methadone doesnt give me any opiate high effects, its just enough to stop withdrawals. If I take the oxy after I've had my meth would 80mg be a good enough dose for a decent opiate high?

Also as I am an IV heroin user would you recomend IV'ing or is the bioavailibility of oxy just as good eating as it is hitting up?

Or would it be just a good idea to throw the 2 OC's in the back of a drawer for a time in the near future when I'm clean and opiate free for a while to experiance these properly?

BA of oral OC is high, do them under your tongue and it should be even higher(I'd think, since oxy is so water soluble).

Maby it had been way past your previous dose, so it was somewhat filling the space the methadone a little later normally does. I'd think you would need to take your methadone to be as far from withdrawals as you can be right now(but not high), and the oxy after that a while.

It could be risky though, I wouldn't be the one to ask, what I just said above is just what I've noticed mixing different opiates with different half lifes.

Sounds like you ran into the same tolerance "wall" thats lots of us in the U.S. experience.
40mg is really not that much, for someone with a good sized tolerance. I would put it away to such time that you have a lower tolerance. Either that or trade it for some kick ass H.
As far as IV'ing Oxy. Don't think you would need to go that route. Since the oral BA of Oxy. is so high, no other ROA is required.

When your on Methadone daily you run into a ceiling effect where it becomes very hard to get high on other opiates, as well as the Methadone. I wasn't able to get off on Heroin while on Methadone so I'd imagine it would be tough to get off on Oxycodone. You probably need to stop taking the Methadone a couple days and then take the 80mg OC. Also, just take it orally.

unless you want to stop your methadone for a while you wont get high

but i hear there is a certain dose where methadone blocks opiates ...it may be 30mg but i forget, but someone else can tell u

so if u take a lower dose [at whatever is underthe blockage effect ] for a few days for your body to lower the methadone in your body than stop it for about a day then you can prolly get high

but why are you on methadone anyway? u prolly shouflt be trying to get high lol

no, oxycodone highest BA is oral ...obivously besides IV
