Oxycodone Overdose?

Hey everyone. So I have been taking vicodin/percocet/codeine pills for about 3 or 4 weeks now, and I suppose I have built up somewhat of a tolerance. I have heard that if you have a tolerance for one, you also have tolerance for others... anyway, I have been doing CWE's on 5-325's of percocet and 10-325's of vicodin, and usually takes 20-25 mg of the percocet or maybe 50 mg of vicodin. But today I got my hands on some of the pure oxycodone 30mg pills (little blue ones). I took one, and didnt feel anything for about 30 minutes, so I took another half (15mg) and started to feel really good. Then my pupils started to get smaller, and started getting drowsy. My body became weak, hands were shaky, and felt a tiny hint of nausea but nothing serious. I became really scared that they may have overdosed, though it slowly went away over the course of about an hour or so. I am not really sure what happened, but they are curious as to what everyone else thinks. I am 5'10", 135 lbs, 18 years old. If you could give me some pointers so that this will not happen again, or what may have happened, it would be much appreciated, thank you!

We don't use SWIM on this site...we all know that you're talking about yourself. SWIM doesn't protect you and just makes your posts hard to read. Please edit your post to remove SWIM and replace it with proper pronouns.

In regards to your question, you did take a higher dose of oxycodone than you're used to. The nausea, drowsiness and pinpoint pupils are classic opioid side effects. This wasn't a life-threatening overdose but you did take too much. You went from taking 20-25mg oxycodone to 45mg oxycodone which is a pretty big jump.

If you continue to increase your dosage your tolerance will just keep going up. I recommend not increasing your dose so rapidly.

You took too much and that's why you felt sick. Be careful because before you know it, your tolerance will keep going higher.

Yeah, I wrote the entire thread not using SWIM... and then I realized many other peoole doing so I didnt know, first time posting, I apologize. Anyway, thank you for the reply, ill definitely be more careful next time!
