Oxycodone nausea??

Ok this morning when I got up I popped two oxycodone 10/325(Ive finally got my tolerence down to where 30-40mgs gets me high as fuuuhh). On an empty stomach. (as I almost always do) anyways I was high as a kite felt like I'd taken atleast 40mg oxycodone. And about 2 hours into the high I felt REALLY nauseated(I had to force myself NOT to throw up) lightheaded, dizzy, weak & shaky, and sweating a little. also I have NEVER ever gotten sick or even the slightest bit nauseated from any kind of opiate. Even back before I tapered down to lower my tolerance I was at 60-70mgs per dose of hydrocodone or oxycodone. So what do you guys think could've caused this sick/nauseous feeling? Keep in mind my tolerance now is about 30-40 mgs of oxycodone maybe even up to around 50 mg. And I ONLY took 20mg oxycodone and 650mg APAP. just like I do EVERY morning (except when my dealer is a sorry ass and doesn't pick up the phone ha) so what do you guys think could've cause this? I dosed at approx. 8am and it is now 1pm and I'm still fuuuuh d up! Even in larger doses of oxycodone it usually last 4 hrs AT THE MOST. And it's been 5 and I'm still high. I haven't taken anything to potentiate or nothing. Only this antibiotic I'm on called keflex. But I don't think that had anything to do with it. (as I have been taking that for that past few weeks) Any suggestions as to what made me so high? And also so sick feeling? Sorry for the freaking story I wrote guys but as stated before I'm still a lil out of it. Thanks

I'm guessing cephalexin (Keflex) is what made you nauseous. It fucks with my stomach too.
 
I Take opiates everyday, my tolerance is a little higher then yours.. not by much. And like you, I have never ever once gotten sick or nausea bc of pills. ever once in my life, not up until about 3 months ago sometimes randomly taking the pills will just catch up with you. In the past 4 years of taking them I have never felt sick until again, about 3 months ago it will happen every so often, it's rare. Its just your body way of saying damn son, this is catching up! thats why on the bottles of scripts it will say "take with food!" haha.. but listen, we tryn ta get high today! hahahah. but yeah, to answer your question its nothing. Promise you that.
 
All I can say is, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. There's been times I've taken the same dose for 8+ days straight, same time, same stomach contents, same everything. But then on one of those days I get the nausea.

True, I've taken 40 or 60 mg oxy for weeks at a time then taken 30 mg and gotten sick as fuck. Sometimes it seems the drug just turns on you and says fuck you. It sucks and it's kinda rare for a seasoned user but it happens.
 
^I'm gonna throw in a little twist here....Did you happen to smoke a lot of cigarettes and consume caffeine on an empty stomach with the oxy? Were you dehydrated when you woke up and went straight to oxy, caffeine and cigarettes?

I primarily used heroin....in the beginning, I'd get nauseous and throw up sometimes, but for a long time now, basically no amount of opiates on their own will make me nauseous...unless I do near over-dose amounts!

I do tend to smoke a lot of cigarettes when I'm high though....I also love drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes with my dope....especially in the morning! It's an incredible high, I love it! If I smoke too many cigarettes without even realizing it, I will get very nausous and sometimes even throw up!

Not sure if that's what happened with you, but it's a possibility....chain cmoking cigarettes will produce the symtoms you're describing.
 
I've had it happen from time to time. I used to take nearly 400mg a day of Oxycontin and sometimes, usually in the summer when it was pretty hot (maybe the dehydration thing?) and I'd sometimes take an extra pill or two. My body would just say "halt" and I'd gak. It even happened with my father one afternoon coming back from the driving range and I had to have him pull over so I could chunk. At the time, I was drinking tons of Gatorade and I blamed it on that. To be honest, the Gatorade could have had something to do with it but I'm sure the pills contributed. No doubt. Just make sure to apply the brakes from time to time. Your body will thank you.
 
I'd just add that when experiencing nausea with opiates, it's usually an indicator that the dose is a bit on the high side. A very subtle adjustment down could have you feeling fine again.

Also of note is to just take a someone reclined position when the nausea hits, generally it dispatches it fairly quickly if your dose wasn't absurd, overlooked but effective.
 
Diphenhydramine my friend! Or use your finger to make yourself puke. My finger makes me feel slot better lolol
 
^ Don't think using diphen to combat opiod induced nausea is a great idea...If it doesn't work it will just prolong things. But hey, I never tried it.Laying on my back always worked for me.
 
wut?!?!?! diphen works amazing for nausea IMO/IME . not as well as using your finger but hey! it helps!
 
Ok guys I appreciate all the helpful info. I was thinking about the cigarettes and caffeine thing. But and update here ever since I originally posted this I've felt nauseated everytime I take more than 7.5 mg of oxycodone. Idk guys I'm thinking just to taper down a bit. Then finally make the leap
 
45 mgs has made me throw up twice in the last hour....idk, maybe Ive got food poisoning
 
I just took 3 oxycodone 5-325's and when they kicked in I felt nauseous for like 20 minutes and then I threw up. I'm still feeling it a little but it's probably safe to say you should eat a little something before taking them just so you don't end up waisting money. I'm pretty sure this buzz isn't gonna last much longer.. Damnit -.-
