If i chew half of an oxycone hydrochloride 10 mg pill, would the effects be different than taking it whole?

Be careful doing that though, because it's an easy way to OD if you are taking too many of them.

Yes. It'll dissolve faster in your stomach and you'll get a more concentrated dose. Instead of, let's say, 5mg getting absorbed every 20 minutes, you'll get the whole 10mg in that 20 minutes. This is just an example but it illustrates the point that it might make you feel sick or at least be stronger than you expected.
