Opioids oxycodone local anesthetic

does oxycodone have a local anesthetic effect and like buprenorphine doesn't cause when i miss i micron filtered shot of subs it hurts like hell but if i miss a cotton filtered oxy shot it's somewhat not painful

I just got 20 some percocet 10/650mg generics and taste tested it and it slightly numbed my tongue for a few minutes. I'm not sure if these are legit because even though I tried a quarter (2.5mg) it doesn't feel quite like an opiate but provides the numbness of one. Not sure if this is my anxiety, bunk pill, or what but I thought I'd say something because I just experienced something similar.

Other people have said it doesn't though.
