Hey...I hope I'm not re-asking an exceedingly common question, but I was wondering how Oxycodone and Heroin differ in regard to the initial rush when injected? What about the nod? The main reason I ask is that I've been banging Oxys for the past year or so but decided to try H recently because it was around and because of curiosity. I usually do about 80-90mg of the Oxy every other day or so if I can afford it. So anyway, I got two thirty bags of H...did them both at the same time and felt absolutely nothing other than not sick anymore. No rush...no nod....both of which I always get from my usual dose of Oxy. So did I just get some weak/stomped H or what??? I always heard it was supposed to be similar but much better. If it helps at all, the H was a light brown, very fine powder and was sweet tasting with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Thanks

think u just got some bad dope...if ur tolerance is 90mg a day tops $-- of some good dope could potentially kill you...how much "stuff" didnt dissolve in water? you really want your dope to taste bitter ive heard of sweet tasting dope but its always been talked about in a way like..."this is weird my dope tastes sweet" i wouldnt get anything from that guy again

oxycodone doesn't really have a rush...

you also got shit dope.

I don't get where all that guys come from that say that oxycodone has no rush.

Of course it has a rush. A great one, actually. Just don't remove the tourniquet when you push the plunger down. Remove it when all the liquid is in your veins. 1-5ml won't do any damage to your veins, the pressure is not that hard. Actually, veins can hold more pressure than you think. Most people inject with insulin rigs which hold 1ml. I usually inject 3ml in one shot. I never had problems. Even not with 7ml in one shot. Absolutely no problem.

When you don't do more than 2-4ml, not removing the tourniquet to enhance the quality of the oxycodone rush won't do any damage to your veins.

Of course, there are people who inject with 10-20ml syringes because of their high tolerance (some people have to dissolve 3g of 60% pure heroin in one shot, or even more! This is NOT A JOKE, I inject about 100mg oxy in one shot, half a gram in one day IV) or because they can't get any other syringes in their country/region.

Oxycodone has a nice rush, but heroin's rush (let's say the heroin has about the same strength as the oxy, so the shots are equally potent) has more power/punch/strength to it. Oxy has a better rush/buzz quality, but heroin has more strength to it. The rush is more intense, but lower in quality. But that's only my 2 cents.

The general consensus is that heroin hcl has a better rush than oxycodone hcl. Heroin is a longer lived IV high when compared to oxycodone IV.

Oxycodone is less likely to cause somnolence (the nod) because it's effects are a bit more stimulating than heroin. However, it's not to say both can't enable a nod for you, I think it would just take more oxycodone than heroin to get you nodding.

We frown upon "vs" threads, and since this has been discussed to death in the past, I'm just going to close this.
