Opioids Oxycodone - I'm pretty much fucked in NJ

you're best bet is to go to detox, go to the methadone clinic, go to the suboxone clinic, go to florida, go to the dope man, or idk man. you're in for a rough ride man. this is why of something seems to good to be true, it is. getting on all those pills probably felt good at the time but when a doc is writing scripts like that people die, the dea comes knocking, and then your stuck in the situation your in. I think your best bet is to get on suboxone for a week or two and try to get off. it will be much easier to detox off suboxone than 720mg of oxy, but its gonna be tough man, possibly even life threatening. I seriously wish you the best man. I'll check this thread tomorrow, I just read the first post so I'm not really up to date on whats going on. I think you should get benzos too man. in a situation like this if you decide to stick it out your going to need to be sedated. another option is to go get the anaesthetic detox thing they do. I hear it's pretty extreme, but extreme situations call for extreme measures.

Man I am so sorry you are in this position. It was only a matter of time before the Board of Medicine and or DEA to yank his license. I live in Arkansas and we used to have a ton of these quacks (and still have some) that would give you like 300 80's/month & 360 Roxy 30s and xanax and whatever else you want. They have cracked down hard in the lst 2-3yrs though. I was prescribed both the old OC 80's and 30's together w/xanax and Somas for 3 years and had to quit because my dr. got in trouble too. At my highest I was taking 700-800mgs/day as well plus I developed a wicked H habit. Now I am on subutex and xanax (as needed) and feel like a million bux! However, I had to go to inpatient for 3 weeks because I had nothing and was literally about to die from w/ds. At the hospital in detox those 3 weeks they gave me clonodine, librium, some restless leg drug i forgot the name of and lots of Trazadone and stuff for my stomach since I couldn't eat and when I did it came right back out. I toughed it out though bc I knew if I left I'd go score so I just comiserated with other patients withdrawing in there so it kinda helped. By the end of the 3 wks in inpatient I had lost 18lbs but was finally able to get a lil sleep and keep solids down. You see, they wanted me off EVERYTHING after years of being dependent on opiates/benzos. I gave it my all when I got out to stay off everythuing and got rx'd an anti-dep. but I was a shell of a man (depressed anxious in pain) and this went on for roughly two months until I was referred to a Pain Mgmt/Suboxone Dr. He said I was suffering from PAWS Post acute w/d sysndrome which can last quite some time for those with high tolerances especially. He admired but disagreed with my choice to try n get off everything due to my pains (disc problems) and said that in his practice, he sees more overdoses from ppl trying to stop taking everything cold turkey then relapse on their DOC and their bodies can't handle it anymore. I have tried methadone in the past with the old doc and trust me, DO NOT get on it!!! I have lost 5 dear friends from overdose and plus it's almost impossible to get off of-especially with the doses you would most likely be put on w/ur high tolerance. The subutex, soma, and xanax combo I'm on right now has literally changed my life and I am now working, feel healthier and am just no longer having to chase that full agonist high anymore. Believe it or or not, I sear to God my pain level is waay down from when I was on all that shit! (Probably because i was so stopped uop and couldn't crap w/out laxatives. PLEASE consider going to a legitimate SUBOXONE Dr.-who will most likely be a Pain MGMT specialist like mine is and I think you will do great if that is your goal. I also am finally at the point where I get to take ALL my rx's home w/ refills after being piss tested for just 3 months! Now keep in mind, the only part that is going to suck without a doubt is the w/d's you will have to go thru to get the full agaonist opiates(oxys) off of your receptors. That was the ONLY good thing about me going to inpatient bc I had already detoxed under medical supervision and they did not have to induce w/d's at the Sub Dr. like they would have if I had not fully detoxed. You're sub dr. will ean you off as low as he can on the oxys before inducing the subs. Don't let that scare you though because if you get a good Dr. they will take care of you if you are 100% honest w them. That is my 2 cents bc I went thru a similar situation but it is your call man.
