Oxycodone + Hydrocodone combination

Yes, you'll be fine. The hydro won't really be binding any receptors in your brain at this point. Just remember oxy is much stronger, equivalent to about 20 mg of hydrocodone or so.

You won't OD or anything, but remember that your tolerance (and your chance of physical dependence) goes up much more quickly when you take opiates every day, or more than once a day.
 
Yes, it is safe, unless you're extremely sensitive to opiates (which it sounds like you're not).

^^ i agree, i thnk you should wait it out 2-3 days before you take another opiate (oxy,hydro, codeine, ect..) tolerance is a bitch and addiction can creep in before you know it.. just because you dont get sick, doesnt mean you are not mentally addicted alreadu. some people become psychologically addicted after their first time

hydro has a short half life of 2.5-4hours so if you only took 5mgs you probably would be back to baseline in 4-6hours
 
I took hydro at 11am it's now 9:30pm. I know oxy is stronger... I know my amount. I just didn't know if taking oxy and hydro in the same day was a bad idea even though it wasn't much hydro at all.

I need opiates at my night job... Gotta take sumthin it helps me work and not be shy.

Well, it wasn't a bad idea to ask first. If you were dealing with a longer-acting opiate in the morning, like methadone or something, then yes, you could have been in trouble re-dosing later in the day.

Enjoy your oxy, I miss the days when 15 mg did anything at all to me :D
 
Ive taken vicodin with percs before & even with oxycontin. It gets you high as before but maybe adds to the buzz itself. You wont gets sick unless you're sensitive to opiates as mentioned above.
 
In my opinion, just take the oxycodone by itself. It's so much more potent than vicodin, if I had the choice between the two, I'd definitely choose the oxy.

You'll be fine taking both, though, but just make sure you know what your limits are. Speaking from experience, tolerance really is a bitch, totally wastes your pills. Usually to be safe I would suggest waiting a day or two between popping 'em again. Saves you pills.
 
Well... I wasn't wanting to take them together... My question was I okay to take oxy in the evening since I took the hydro in the am on the same day. I took
The hydro for cramping pain and wanted to take the oxy at night at work because it helps me not be so shy at what I do. Gets me social and feeling good. I prefer the oxy too, honestly.
