Oxycodone high

i'm starting to feel it now. You think it will get stronger? I know taking it orally it got strong for about an hour or so and then it gradually went down. But I hope the high lasts longer than an hour cause it feels fuckin great!

BTW how was the oxycodone? I'm thinking about trying them myself sometime soon. My only real experience w/ opiates is with tabs. What should I know or do that's different about oxys than tabs (I already know oxys are stronger from what I've heard).

oxycodone is roughly 1.75x as potent as hydrocodone. and you can bang and snort roxis vs. only taking the tabs orally.

Thanks sherm, that's kind of what I thought already but wasn't sure. I can get the capsules or tablets, but I have no desire to snort them or anything like that. You also said in that other post oxys are a lot more like hydros than morphine, that's good to hear. Why do ppl say oxys are equal to morphine in potency though? I dont really get it. It's still a different drug / chemical than morphine isn't it? I'm a noob with opiates outside of tabs (I've eaten tabs for years now on & off).

It should have gradually gotten stronger until you reached about an hour into your high then it levels off and starts to decrease, but you should still feel an opiate buzz for the rest of the night.

well morphine = morphine
oxy = oxy
they are all opiates (technically opioids), they just have different chemical structures. They all work on the same receptors (Mu-Opioid), and all will get you high in a similar fashion. Oxy is derived from thebaine, and tends to have a more speedy, euphoric high than morphine, which is more sedating. Oxycodone is roughly 1.5x as potent as morphine.

Just out of curiosity do you know the potency ratio between oxycodone and Heroin?

Thanks, that puts it into more detail for me. Pretty cool stuff, I like to know the most I can about how diff. drugs work.

I'm prescribed Kpins and the only thing I ever really take recreationally are tabs, so I'm hesitant to try anything stronger knowing that benzos & opioids can be a dangerous combo. Then again I don't ever take them @ the same time, I always skip the Kpin for a night if I'm gonna take a tab (even then I still stay paranoid bout it).

no way to tell, since almost every bag of heroin you get is different. Heroin is diacetylmorphine, which is synthesized from morphine. If you had pure diamorphine, it is roughly 3x as potent as morphine.

How would you compare the feeling from hydros to oxycodones, edgeman? I can get some OCs and have thought about trying them out but haven't yet.
 
bust it up and put it in water and drink it down the hatch the peak is the prob most intense shit i ever done and it lasts almost all day and i have a tolerence
 
Eating will actually be a better high. It will last longer and feel better. But when you get turned on to snorting pills it can be difficult to swallow 'em when you know you can get that instant relief. Oxy is pretty short lasting compared to other opiates like say heroin or morphine, I'd say 2.5 hours of substantial high if you aren't totally used to the feeling, and five hoursish til you're back to baseline. Snorting decreases these times obviously.

hydros seem weaker than the oxcy's. The hydros really didn't do much in a sense but the OC's made me really relaxed and it was just awesome. OC's are my drug of choice. Fuck hydro's.
