oxycodone dosage

What do people do to reduce the itches. I get absolutely shocking itches in the higher end of dosages. I will be tearing at my skin!

Is there anything OTC that I can take to reduce this?
 
had to spend yesterday in the hospital cause as it turns out i've got an abcess in my mouth! But i got prescribed with 10mg endone with 2 repeats, which ultimately means super happy times. Is it good to mix with codeine at all? Any recommended dosage for the both together?

Antihistamines will cure the itches and nausea 100%. Promethazine 25mg or diphenhydramine 50mg are good starting doses to use and are both OTC usually. Be ware they will potentiate the oxy and they will cause extra drowsiness so start with a lower dose than usual.

by good you mean synergise with each other? yeah they do. as always start out with minimal doses of each, i usually like to go by the rule of halving my usual dose of each, even 1/3 just to gauge how things are before you go stepping into unfamiliar territory.

agreed. they sell 12mg prometh (phenergan) so theyd probably be a good dose to start out with if youve never taken antihistamines and are unaware how you react to them.
 
I'd start low with the phenergan. I find 3 - 5mg is enough to completely kill the nausea, and any more than that and the sedation would start getting too heavy (no point in killing the nausea with promethazine if taking a decent dose of oxy on top puts you to sleep).

I really can't speak highly enough of it though. Less than half of a 10mg pill turns opiates from a 4 hour vomitting fest into a really enjoyable experience.
 
My friends recommended an OTC product called Enegrain (spelling?) Its for substance induced nausea and itching. Apparently its one of the best things to use. Anyone heard of it?

I find that anymore than 20mg for a non tolerant user induces sickness and vomiting. I dont get too itchy and i rather like the feeling. Just did a 400mg CWE tonite and i am getting very itchy prob the most i have ever been.
 
Didnt want to open another thread im just wondering is it normal to get very hungry on codeine+oxy combo? Im not a big fan on munhies but whenever i do it i feel like i could eat it all day. Anyone else have this? And anyone know the answer to my other question?
 
lulz, yes you(i) get the munchies on other drugs than weed

ps - your question, you mean phenergan. it's promethazine in a tablet, otc, from any good pharmacist. check the search engine, there's been a lot about it over the place
 
I always found poppy seed tea made me crave carbs, eg a bit fat juicy chicken burger or something. Not sure if it was just me though.
 
I get munchies on opiates quite badly. Not at weed levels, but it's a regular occurance.

Ahh ok im relieved:) I wasnt referring to phenergan. I was reffering to sumfn called Enegrane (Spelling?).
 
Well I got some Endone and tramadol today.

ENDONE contains 5 mg of oxycodone hydrochloride in each tablet.

The other ingredients in ENDONE tablets are:

lactose
microcrystalline cellulose
stearic acid.

I was wondering about possible harm in mixing these two. the Tramadol's are 100mg.

Phenergan 10-15mg would be highly recommended, it does add to the sedation though so lower your normal dose a bit.
 
Thanks for that bit of information Rolls, I shall be trying that out very soon then I imagine. I'm guessing that would help to alleviate the itchyness and nausea also?
 
Yeah it does, that's why people take it. I throw up all over the place on opiates without it, but 5mg of phenergan completely alleviates any nausea.
 
I thought that would be the case. Yeah I found when I took MS Contin's i threw up all over the place, but now I know next time to use the phenergan. Ok so Just dosed up on 5mg phenergan and if i would take without the phenergan 200mg Tramadol, 10mg oxycodone and 120mg of codeine, Should I just halve everything?
