Oxycodone dizzyness? (related to APAP or not?)

Simple question.... I've been getting pretty dizzy/feeling super out of it from taking pretty small amounts of my 5/325 Perks....

Now I'm not a habitual opiate user at all, but I've had Roxy 30s a dozen of times and although I have a very low tolerance for the stuff in general, I can blow 7.5-10 mg of OC and just feel good.

But when I take the same amount - but in this case mixed with APAP and taken oral (obviously)... I can feel the same euphoric energy at times but mostly just the dizzy, irritated, stoned out of it kind of feeling.

Is there any chance this has to do with me being sensitive to the acetaminophen/APAP ?? I pretty much never take OTC APAP drugs so I really wouldn't know... and yes I know CWE is very easy, it's just that right now I'm taking such small doses 5-15mg that it isn't even necessary at this point.

the apap in conjunction with the oxycodone does increase analgesic properties but shouldn't be increasing sedation.

you say you normally blow roxi's? the nasal BA is a little bit lower than oral and the effects last substantially shorter. you're effectively absorbing more oxycodone taking it orally, thus greater effects. just back off a few mg should you be feeling too sedated.

I usually just take 2 pills (10mg) at once, then add from there as needed.... 10mg gets me pretty high (I know.... seems ridiculous to some of you out there) plus relieves the pain of course. I don't exceed 20mg (1,300mg of APAP). My surgery is not till next wed so I am sure my tolerance will increase and I will probably do a bit of CWE, but mostly just cause I don't like the idea healthwise of APAP...

I can finish a 30mg Roxy throughout the (rare) day I have one plenty easily.

I'm also taking other prescriptions with it... but my benzo tolerance for example is so high that I know it is not causing the dizzyness.

I've found that food, water and espresso all go well with Oxy for me in terms of reducing any negative effects and pronouncing the positive ones.

Just kind of odd too because I had these perks only once before (Endocet 5s).. like a half year ago, and I would feel GREAT off of them (same approx dosage) and I even found myself waking up one morning feeling like I had a bad 'cold', took one and felt a million bucks.... that's when I realized it was the tip of the iceberg of minor physical addiction so I stopped taking them then.

Once again - just wondering because my surgery got pushed back till next wednesday... and I have plenty left (20 or 25 idk) and I know they are going to give me a shitload more after the actual procedure. I guess it's good for my own sake, but it's too bad hospitals don't seem to hand out OCs anymore unless you are older (I'm 22) and going through like cancer...

Now that I think about it... I can't think of a single person I've ever known, no matter how old, who has been actually prescribed real OCs not just perks. Even my father who got major brain surgery - brain tumor removed, was given 10/325 perks..... (which he flushed down the toilet :|) Guess it's a big liability/issue these days.

true... I have only eaten OCs (roxys, anykind) once... 15mg... and although I had a short period of that euphoric energy, it was pretty much a couch-stoned high where I found myself feeling retarded and hard to be articulate on the phone etc.

Damn I can't even imagine chewing like an 80! I'd literally like fucking die.

Just pop a tylenol and see what happens. If you get dizzy, there's your answer. I'd say it's just a side effect of the oxy though but anythings possible.

I agree that it is exceedinly unlikely for it to be the APAP, I've never heard of it having this effect in anyone - but Shady's idea is a good one!

Remember not to exceed more than 2,000mg of APAP in one single dose or 4,000mg in 24 hours.

try laying on your back and/or taking some benedryl/dramamine. smoking weed also helps too %)

does Benadryl really help with nausea/dizziness from Opiates? I was under the assumption it just would potentate the sedative effects and reduce itching (for those who get itchy.... I don't for some reason. My GF on the other hand gets crazy with that.. weird)

^ It can help with nausea as well as the itching and sedation - not sure about the dizziness though as I don't know what is causing that exactly, could be low blood pressure, could be not eating properly, could just be a side effect of the oxycodone for you..

Make sure you only take the recommended dose as it causes unpleasant delirium at high doses!

they are brand new prescribed....

Just hoping after the surgery I can get some Oxycodone without the APAP? but somehow doubt that will happen. I don't know anyone, of any age, no matter what their procedure was in my area (regarded as the best/topshelf medical area/hospitals/medical schools in the world.. think that adds to it) has gotten just plan OCs ? seems like they are extinct. Even my father who had a brain tumor removed just got plain old perk 10s...

It wasn't from the APAP (doesn't give these side effects but causes much worse). My mother usually is prescribed hydrocodone but her doctor gave her oxycodone once. She ended up being really dizzy and couldn't even get out of the bathroom. So we had to bring her to her room because even outside she almost fell over. So she ended up not taking it anymore and when back to hydros... Oxycodone gave me a dizzy kind of feeling when I first started using it but then my body got use to it.

Yeah, you guys are right.... I've decided it is just the fact my body is not used to taking oral Oxycodone. This morning was already better - 10mg on an empty stomach and I was fine.

I have only had 650mg of APAP today (2 perks).... like 4 hours ago or more.... I want a break from the Oxy cloud and would it be bad to have a couple (tall) glasses of red wine? I know im kind of a hypochondriac.... but like I said, I NEVER take APAP normally so I don't know much about it - besides it is one of your livers worst enemies.. and combined with alcohol is the worst.

But 650mg is basically just a extra strength Tylenol, and this is just once, not a chronic thing... so I'm assuming it wouldn't hurt?

And one last thing: What the fuck is up with my extreme irritability due to the perks?? I have had some from blowing roxys recreationally before.... but I don't remember having it to this degree last time I had perks...

I mean maybe my body STILL needs time to get used to the stuff, but it turns me into a psychopath really...... like this morning (temporarily staying at my father's place) and I was fixing a double esspresso for both of us, and he comes into the kitchen and sees me filling the water tank thing in the back of the machine with the stainless steal pourer that they provide... and kind of gently takes over and begins to lift the tank out and explains that "its easier to just put the whole tank under the sink and fill it all up at once"

I absolutely blew up about this , almost punching a hole in a 225 year old painting and swearing at him, shaking with anger...?? yeah he should of just let me fix the fucking espresso my own way - especially since i was being nice and fixing him one two.... but that is DEFinitely not something to go into a flying rage about.

Same thing with my gf... I hate her a lot of the time anyways, but I completely went off on her, actually buying the domain of her name and threatening to post pornographic pics of her sucking my dick, videos , and sent it to her whole family!!! And then proceeded to bust a nut in her Ugg boots that she left over here, when she was talking to me via skype just whipped it out and shocked her. All because she had been promiscuous in the past before she met me and other reasons

but my point is........ I'm a very calm, collected, smart individual normally. From reading this, I am obviously portraying myself as a complete sociopath... Even the irritability I've gotten from the worst come down of adderall I've ever gotten is no where near this rage. Whoa!!

When I'm on opiates, heroin in particular, I'm very aggressive too, and I've done things I'd wish I could take back :o
