the opiates/opiods i have used are as follows: hydrocodone, oxycodone, dilaudid, fentanyl, meperidine, bupe, tramadol, and heroin. not an extensive list. i have used every route of ingestion except for IV (i have taken orally, plugged, intranasally) and here are my thoughts on each one:
hydrocodone - enjoyable. ROA is always oral. i get a bit of stimulation from hydrocodone. it is mainly something i use when i am trying to avoid withdrawals but i will occasionally take enough to get high (that's about 80-120mg for me but i do experience a decent amount of euphoria). i ALWAYS do a CWE due to the fact that i have to take large doses of hydrocodone for it to do anything for me. it was the first opiate i ever tried and back in the day, 20mg would put me on a 6 hour nod. ahhhhhh the glory days.
oxycodone - my opiate of choice MOST DEFINITELY. i love every thing about oxycodone. it's pain killing effects are incredible. the stimulation is wonderful. euphoria is fantastic. i have used oxycodone both nasally and orally (honestly, not much of a difference in these two ROA due to oxy's high bio-availability. if i score roxys...you can bet your ass i'm gonna snort em, though). oxycodone is highly addictive and the withdrawals seem to be EPICALLY PAINFUL in nature. worst withdrawals i have experienced from any opiate (i was actually having them earlier today before i scored a 40mg OP and 3 10mg hydros. if i mix opiates, i always take the stronger one first and wait 30 minutes to take the weaker one to keep the weaker one from blocking up my receptors). oxy is the devil. and i love it. haha
dilaudid - this one is OKAY. i hear it is the bees knees when shot but i have only used it nasally (meh. weeeeaaak.) and i have plugged it. NOT BAD! i don't get much euphoria, though, and the effects don't last long enough. it is one of my last resort go-to-guys.
fentanyl - i don't recommend anyone mess with this stuff. very sedating, extrememly addictive, and honestly, i am not a fan of the effects. another "keep the WD away" opiate. i have only used it as directed (wore the patch). not much euphoria. nausea was extreme. thank god i have a promethazine scrip.
meperidine - many years back i was able to try this one 4 or 5 times. came in red caps and was mixed with promethazine. i would dump two capsuals into a mountain dew and sip on it. it was like lean x 1092487. lol LOVED it from what i remember. i had to tolerance at the time and that demerol was heavenly.
bupe - i have only used this to keep WD at bay. never had a chance to try it recreationally but it can be a life-saver when i'm short on cash. hard to find unless you know heroin/ex heroin users.
tramadol - i'm not a huge fan but is also a lifesaver when it comes to WD. i am not into SSRIs, though, and since tramadol is a weak one, i try to stay away from it. i of course will take it to keep dope sickness at bay, though. i've never experienced much effects from it, to be completely honest.
heroin - heroin is probably my second favorite opiate after oxy with high-dose hydro being a close third. tar is generally all that is available where i live. i usually dissolve my dose in a minimal amount of water, crush up half of one of my klonopins to keep the stuff from running down my throat and sniff away. this is not one you want to snuff back (if you swallow it, you are wasting it). euphoria is pleasant. not too much sedation...sometimes even a little stimulating. closest effects to oxy i can think of (for me anyway). effects do not last as long as i would like, however. heroin is not as big of a deal as people seem to think it is. i enjoy it on occasion.

yes it is very true, at least for me, that taking a weaker opiod before taking a stronger one will clog up your receptors. forgot to mention i've taken codeine plenty of times, as well. that's how forgetable it is. hahaha
