Opioids Oxycodone Being Discontinued?

Has anyone else heard of this? My girlfriend works for an unnamed insurance company and they got a memo today on how to break to people their insurance dosent cover Oxycontin because they are discontinuing Oxycodone, I'm in Michigan has anyone else heard this?
 
How could they, Purdue just changed the formula. And they are still raking in big money from it so i seriously doubt the discontinuation of it. perhaps it is just on that insurance?
 
Honestly that was my reaction but my girl said they received a big memo about it, cause its like I said to her, how are they just gonna stop making it? There are people out there who really need it, but I'm gonna keep Bluelight posted when I hear more. Oh and I also thought maybe they were just doing this in Michigan?
 
Oh nd I should have been more specific, she said they were "Discontinuing the 40mg Oxycodone, not all oxycodone period, that's my bad cause obviously these widley used pills aren't gonna just disappear off the market. She's gonna get me some more info tomorrow cause I know how BlueLighters love their proof :)
 
If you don't have substantiation, please don't go around spreading rumors that will affect A LOT of people around here.

I haven't heard of anything like this and as was mentioned, they just released a new version of oxycontin. If you have SUBSTANTIATED information to share, please PM me and I'll reopen this. We don't need threads started on hearsay.
