Hi,

I use OC to help me study (8-15mgs). Is this weird? Does anyone else notice increased concentration, motivation, alertness on low doses of OC?

I agree 100%. Yeah it might help at first but in the long run you'll be screwed and addicted to opiates. That's the jist of it so just stay away, ur playing wit fire my friend.

I used to use heroin to study. Bad idea, i was young and stupid. Got addicted in no time. Oxycodone is much the same. Have you tried coffee?

damn this takes me back to my high school days. i used to bust out tons of school work on opiates and weed, i even asked for extra credit work lol

but yeah thats going down a bad road, especially if you plan on attending school for the next few years. if you use it the whole time in school your gonna have no motivation to study unless on oxy and that would start to suck after awhile im sure.

Fuckin eh. It got to a point where i could not think unless i had my dose for the day. Thats opiates for you....

you ever consider piracetam? some people swear by it
not sure if it'll help you get motivated to study, it'll probably help you more with memory recall

Yep. it makes me amazingly motivated and EAGER to learn. It's crazy.

But as others said, this is what led to my downfall. The reason that you perform better in every facet of your life while on oxy IS a recipe for disaster. Because you will rationalize doing it very frequently now because it makes you perform so much better in everything. It's scary that you can function while on opiates and do a fantastic job during the day, because that's what leads to daily use and eventually addiction like it did for me and so many countless others

get off the shit while u still can

Please don't do that! I did that with codeine and before I knew it I was on oxy's daily. I got out while I still could and suffered through mild withdrawal but really, it's not a good idea - although it does seem like one. Good grades are not worth opiate addiction!

Yeah, I only did homework if I had opiates back in middle and high school. Wish I'd been smarter about it, ended up getting sent to rehab in 10th grade and through variant circumstances never graduating. Now the only time I do ANYTHING (Other than puke, shit myself, sweat-soak the bed) is when I have opiates. I think coffee is a good idea, lol.

Recipe for disaster. The stimulating properties of oxycodone are well known, but in no way should it be used regularly as a study aid.

I was literally gonna say the exact thing "recipe for disaster". Even relying on amphetmaines to get shit done is a set-up for an epic fail.

Wow, thanks for all the advice and concern guys. I really didn't think it was a big deal at all. I've been doing drugs since I was 13 (21 now) and had never really had a problem with drugs. I have a BA and trying to get into grad school (worked FT since I turned 18). I quit my job to study for the GRE and prep for grad school but it's hard to keep the motivation. I've been studying for the GRE for 6 months now so have being doing a little OC here and there. Few times a week.. maybe for a couple months or so. It also helps me go to sleep easier since I quit drinking.

Yeah, I took it back in high school and it worked but started taking it again recently and not really feeling the effects anymore. :( I've also been taking natural brain supplements (Focus fast and ginkgo leaf) and drinking coffee. Meh.

Yup I have to agree with everyone else. It'll soon turn into you unable to do anything without it. Having it "help" you will only allow you to rationalize use until you're in too deep.
