Opioids Oxycodone and sweating

Hey guys, just new to Bluelight, hope this is the right place to start this thread. Please move it if i've fucked up here at all.

I have recently taken Oxycodone a few times, 4 times over the past month and a half.
Opiates have been a very interesting section of drugs to me, and I have been able to get a hold of some Canadian 80's. Out of the four times (I split up an eighty into about 20mg doses, where I would chew the pieces in my mouth and swallow with a sip of water or beer, the first dose was a little less, about 15mg and the second about 25mg) that it was used, three of the highs ended with me waking up in a drenched sweat about 4-5 hours after ingesting the dose. The experiences were all fantastic, and the sweating was not anything other then annoying, but it seemed odd to me, so I thought I would inquire on Bluelight to see if I am having a bad reaction, or if this is a normal side effect.

After trying google and the search tool on here, most articles and posts are relating to withdrawal, which doesn't really factor in me as I have little or no opiate tolerance. Thank you for any information.

i usually sweat when i do too much

but i know a lot of people who sweat on opiates. normal thing IME

opiates also lower your testosterone levels which can cause night sweats.. It seems like it would take a more prolonged use to cause lower T levels. But if you already had a gland problem that you weren't aware of, this might have brought it out..

I was on pain management and taking oxy every single day for a year or more before I started having night sweats. A blood test confirmed that I had low testosterone. They prescribed replacement therapy and that took care of the night sweats within a couple of weeks of starting treatment..

Ive never experiances sweating while on opiates but maybe thats just me

It sounds like you are using too much.

Just to clarify, I would fall sleep after the warming feeling and high subsided, about 2-3 hours after intake, then wake back up after 2-3 hours of sleep, soaking.The sweating came on after the effects wore off and I fell asleep. Should the effects last longer or shorter?
No nausea or any other overdosing signs were noted, as far as I could tell.

Would opiates/opiate use disrupt testosterone levels during the high or as a reaction/after effect of the comedown?

I've gotten this before. Oxycodone tends to do it more than other opiates.

they can definitely make you sweat, especially if you are drinking. that is a rather large dose for your first four times, have you ever gotten sick from it?

This is a relatively common side effect from using a higher dose of opiods than your body can deal with. I would lower your dose by 25% then see if it still occurs.

Scratch that.. I just ran into bk to get coke and I skateboarded around a little bit...I was sweating fuckin crazy like more than ANYONE in the train even the huge motherfuckers. I shot a bag of fire right before I left. So yeah opiates make my sweat like a fuckin smelly vag on a fat chick

ms4104...Your very descriptive!! And funny!!!...I sweat alot on opiates and methadone...I take a blood pressure tab at night otherwise i wont/dont/cant sleep at all...
