Opioids oxycodone and nausea

last week i got my hands on two 40mg of oxycodone. i have no opiate tolerance. the first night i took the pill on a full stomach. i quartered and crushed the pill. i split it up into 10mg lines. after snorting about 20mg i slowly began to feel sick and puked three times throughout the night. i didn't take anymore that night i just waited out the nausea. two days later i decided to give it another go. i had enjoyed the high before i got sick. this time i tried on an empty stomach. i started with another 10mg line and once i had snorted 20mg i started to feel sick again and threw up like the previous time. i am wondering if this is how it's always going to be when i take oxy or whether i have to build a little tolerance and the nausea will no longer happen.
 
In my opinion you are taking too much. I've only vomitted once when taking opiates. Try taking less, and may ingesting it instead of insufflating it.
 
Opiates directly affect the chemoreceptor zone of the brain, and vomition is not always dose-dependent. If you are determined to use opiates without nausea, using them with an anti-emetic such as Zofran first might help (this is often done in hospitals) but this is not a drug that is available OTC, at least in the U.S. Meclizine (Bonine) and Dramamine work peripherally and not centrally, so are not that much of an improvement.
 
Take it orally and 15mg to start
move up only as necessary. The only times people usually puke is when the onset of an incredible high is imminent. Sounds like something else. What did you eat, drink prior? I think it is something aside from oxy.

The only time I vomited from opiates was my first time with IR oxycodone. Titrate your dose more carefully next time.
 
In my opinion 20 mg is way too much for an opiate-naive individual, go for like 10 mg. Also, almost all opiate induced nausea goes away by lying down.
 
I remember when I first started with oxy. In the beginning I did get nauseous at times. Not that often, but sometimes. I have heard a lot of people say that, so I think it is kinda common. It wont always be like that. Unless you just take WAY too much.
 
You will probably get nauseous independently of whether or not you have food in your stomach, but nausea will be worse when you are full because there will be more for your body to want to dispel.
 
IME it's the individual person. I never get nauseas bc of opiate use, but my best friend can't even take a muscle relaxer, let alone an opiate without getting nauseas or an upset stomach. She has a very weak stomach in general, like even a lot of pasta sauce bothers her. I think it has more to do with what your eating, your diet and stuff like that. Maybe try eating food that's more bland and will settle your stomach, or some tums to calm it down. But definitely if you can get the antiemetic use that before you take the opiates again, it will probably help.
 
Like you said, some people are more prone to nausea than others, just as some people are more sensitive to opioid side effects like this. Medications like Phenergan (sp?) can help but if the nausea makes the experience not worth it to you, just find a different DOC.
 
Hey, I'm a person who has tried doses ranging from 5mg to 25mg, 5-7.5 was too little to feel anything.
10mg had a small amount of euphoria at the beginning, but naesua always came around to fuck it up (and a headache).
Then 15mg was the same, except more intense on all effects and sideeffects, 20 and 25 same too.

I only puked on the 20mg dose, was drinking lots of soft drink.
I did it so many times, never found it worth anything, I'd rather smoke legal herbs like catnip.

This is in my biological body though, ~52kg, mother also got sick from it.
Codeine had same effects, stronger euphora and stronger nasuea and headache cause I did a much higher dose.

I even nodded out on oxycodone and was just a sick retarded bag of meat.
A little tranquil maybe.

Morphine IV felt surprisingly good though, only had it in Ambulance :(

You are playing with fire. Your best best is to get the rest of the shit you have and flush it. Just flush it and grab a beer. Or a cigarette. Hell grab damn near anything but that. Oxy has fucked up plenty of lives, if you dont need it do not use it. Plain and simple.
 
and faster probably. Additionally, Your anxiety will rise. Don't plug until you can handle it orally. I find it more intense. Many don't but for me it's a much cleaner faster high.
