I Dont know how bad my addiction is but i normaly do 30-100mg of Oxycodone a day. i do it EVERYDAY. Every time i try to stop i Withdraw to bad and i relapse. I have been doin this for 4 months. i stole from my family to get money and i am afraid i will never stop im to scared to tell my parents because i don't want them to be ashamed of me so i plan to quit by my self. any one got any good advice on withdrawl ? i 19 years old with no health insurance so Rehab is out of the picture

Here is the bottom line dude, you're gonna have to go through discomfort, plain and simple. The best thing you can do is wean down. You have to truly WANT to quit, or you will just continue to abuse it, and get nowhere. I'd find out what doses you're taking, and slowly taper your way down, and then stop. Bottom line is you're going to go through hell for a while, no matter what. The physical effects go away for the most part after 5 to 7 days, it's the psychological effects that kick your ass. You will probably experience a good amount of depression, trouble sleeping, anxiety and such for quite a while, and you pretty much have to relearn how to be happy in life, as drugs tend to take over all aspects of happiness. You are going to deal with horrible cravings and it will probably be a couple months before you really even start to feel like yourself again. I'm speaking from experience, I kicked an opiate habit about a year ago, and know the whole drill.

I'm sorry if it sounds harsh, I am just trying to be honest. It seems in society everyone wants an easy way out, and when it comes to addictions, there simply isn't. Addiction wrecks hell on your mental state especially, and overcoming it is a serious challenge. It's best to go knowing what to expect, because otherwise relapse is almost imminent if you don't realize the true challenges. You may have to put your ego aside and ask for help, ultimately you have to decide what is more important, your ego or your life? Don't be ashamed if you need true professional help, it doesn't make you a weak person.

im doin 30-100mg at once, When i have money im doin 100mg at once when im broke i scavange money for one or 2 30mg's
30-60mg makes me feel normal

I'd figure out the minimum you can do without withdrawing, and cut down 10mg every three days. Once you can get down to like 30 to 40mg a day, go cold turkey from there. Bottom line is it is going to be hard as all hell either way, but it can be done. You just need the discipline and the desire to get better.

dont let seasoned opiate addicts scare you with the "hard facts" about how bad your withdrawl is gonna be or how long its gonna last. ive kicked a fair few times, and a positive mental state goes a long way. its gonna suck, but its not going to kill you. the worst thing that ever happened to me was the last time i kicked (bout 5 months ago), i was writhing in bed freaking out and i bit my arm so hard i drew blood and it hurt so bad i shit my pants a little bit. madness.

Lmao...good thing we don't wanna scare him.

Listen bro. I had the SAME tolerance as you. It was ALOT worst once a long time ago. Like 300mg a day and atelast 150 to be normal. But detoxing off this isnt a walk in the park but I dont think youll become a cannibal and shit your pants.

Just do it the suboxone way. Its alot easier to taper down off that than oxy. Use 2mg a day and decrease by .25 a day. This can easily be accomplished with the strips which are very accurate in doseing.

Good luck but I got a good feeling about you :)
