Oxycodone/Acetaminophen Extraction Question

Sorry if this specific question has been covered before, I could not find it.
I will be getting some percocets tomorrow, and am looking into either CWE or an Alcohol Extraction. I have a couple questions about the Alcohol extraction: Can I just use some sort of Alcohol to remove the acetaminophen from the pills without doing a CWE as well? If so, what type of alcohol should I use? Wouldn't I be left with pure oxycodone powder, and an alcohol/acetaminophen solution? Thank you for any help.

No, because ethyl alcohol (grain alcohol) is a crappy solvent that will dissolve binders, APAP etc as well as oxycodone. Most alcohol contains enough water to seriously fuck up an extraction, too. Isopropanol is slightly more toxic but it is no better. Alcohol is just too polar to not dissolve oxycodone while dissolving everything else.

Try an acid/base extraction if you are using large volumes of pills. Otherwise there is no way for the layman to get "pure oxycodone powder".


Do a CWE or just eat the things.

I followed some detailec cwe directions I fnd in blue light and it seemded to work and was very basic. Crush pills, put into cool water, mix, put in fridge (as cold as you can make yr fridge) or freezer but watch before it freezes. Take it out after 30 minutes and filter it through a cheese cloth or something to catch all the filler and apap. The liquid left will be greenish yellow and should be pure hydro and you drink it or dry it out n a cookie sheet and gather the crystals.
