oxy vs fentanyl

went to my emergency ward yesterday and got 20 4mg dilaudid
did them in one day, so I went back and said they made me sick
scored 20 oxy 10's
now another doc offered me a fentanyl patch
should I grab it or ask for more OXY
I used to have a 300-400 mg a day OXY habit (for 6 mos, using every day--started with only 40 mgs a day---fucking tolerance), but was clean for a month
so my tolernace is considerably weaker
what should I grab
done every opiate except fentanyl and oxymorphone
NOTHING compares to oxy ( I dont and will not bang), should I try the patch?
dont like getting all sedated, but am a fan of euphoria
opinions?

If you did 20 4mg Dilaudids in one day, your tolerance is probably so high that there is no euphoric line with your opiates. You're either not going to get high enough or you're going to take so much that you'll be sedated but irritated that you never got a pleasant euphoria.
You're completely wasting your time.
If I was you, I'd take the oxy and try to stretch it out over a few days because my guess is you're going to go through a helluva time with withdrawals.

damn, did u have a script for the OXY??thats quite a tolerance, especially if you are buying the drugs off the street..
from what i have heard from the seasoned opiate users, DILAUDID has more bark than bite..the high doesnt seem to be all its made out to be..

Why exactly are you asking that question here? If you have not tried fentanyl then go for that .. it sounds like you obviously have some legit physical issue that is getting you all this (of course you're probably still having fun with them too) .. each has it's own benifit -
A fentanyl patch - with this you get yourslef around 40-60 hours of fun, about 10 hours in and you're floored, 20 hours and you're in the most wonderfull happy place.. kill the pain? Thats an understatement! Now if you have really been using 400mg of oxycodone each day you might run into some cross-tollerance issues - so dont be surprised if you need to apply more then one patch, because when I was taking that amount of oxy every day, well, I was taking 560mg each day, I found myself needing to wear 2 of the 100ug/hr patches (though that was enough to just about keep me in bed for the day) .. of course YMMV but don't think that you can slap on a 50ug/hr patch and be floored if yer taking that muchoxycodone..

Soviet after withdrawling and staying clean for 3 weeks, my tolerance is weaker
but the dilaudid did nothing for me (cuz I didnt Im or IV), but they were free on my drug plan so I binged
From past experience I wont go into withdrawl from a one day binge after having 0 opiates in me for 3 weeks
at the end of my 6 month oxy binge, I was getting very little euphoria, like you mentioned....it became just about avoiding withdrawl
but now after the abstinence period I find 40mg snorted gets me high
and Phreex, I just wanted to see if I should get the patch or more OXY next time
OXY is guaranteed to give me bliss, but I was curious about the patch
I do have a physical condition (nothing severe though)
Docs usually favour pain control in real physical cases here in Canada because we dont have the number of pharmaceutical abuse cases compared to the States
Here heroin is easy to get, but potent pharms are nearly impossible to find on the streets
In the big city of toronto, addicts seem to enjoy their junk alot and therefore doctors are a little less hesitant when prescribing pharms since such a small amount end up on the streets
Dont get me wrong though, it's not a piece of cake, we do have stringent laws applying to narcotics and not all doctors are comfortable with them
Moreover, I am a clean cut white kid, who knows my shit and I have a legit execuse
If I was a minority who knows?

If you get the fentanyl patch (Duragesic), cut it open and eat the gel. If you have that kind of OC experience, then you can handle it. Eating the contents of half of a 100 microgram/hour patch will floor you.

If his tolerance is down that much half eaten from a 100ug patch would probably kill him.

Yeah. He'll probably be floored to the point of needing emergency medical attention. And after they find out that he was eating the gel out of the patch he can probably say bye-bye to the sweet opiate deal he has going.

I guess all people are different, but it has been my experience that quitting for upwards of a month doesn't really affect my tolerance all that much, and I never got any higher than 200mg a day, so I was just going on prior experience. I have never had the 100mcg/h patches, but have eaten whole 50mcg/h patches. If you are not used to it, you might throw up off and on for the first hour, but after that, I felt that the next six hours were better than IV heroin. But they are right, if you were going to do that, start off small, sometimes I don't think about other people when I post, just about my own experiences. And if you do eat any of it, use a sewing pin and put a tiny hole in the patch and gently squeeze the gel out.

went today and scored more OXY, the doctor didnt want to give me a patch, turns out he is also a methadone doctor
so he said he thinks giving fentanyl to a 19 yr old guy is rash
but I got the OXY
Ill try again soon for a patch, my new mission....j/k
I must admit, I am and always have been quite content with oxy.....is the high from the patch as intense?
does it last for all 72 hours?

72 hours? Not a chance! I have never had one last more then 48 hours, and after about 40 hours you're really sober as can be.. these things also blow your tollerance to shit - personally, I enjoy them, but since it may take a really long time .. all I can say is give it a shot, we have given you all the info available so it's now in your hands..
