oxy is some weakkkkkk shit imo, just switch to heroin.. much stronger and its cheaper..

I was never a big oxycontin fan anyway... it's way overated as a time released oral pain med (I'm a "semi" legit pain patient) with few if any advantages over methadone (I do know of a couple of folks who seem to have a real "allergy" to methadone... not as in their throat would swell up and they'd die... but the side effects are pretty intolerable... to the point my BIL quit methadone and went back to 5 and 7.5mg vicodins... which DID leave him in pretty bad pain a lot of the time (you can only take so many in a day before you run into liver/Tylenol issues)... and he already had liver problems (due to years of trying to control the pain with alcohol)
his insurance wouldn't cover Oxycontin but would methadone...
I truly think they just had him on to much initially... yea he took a lot of hydro... but not all day every day... just bad days... so they dosed him based on him saying he took 10-16 a day as if he took that every day... instead of just the worst days when there's a storm front coming through etc... since they were starting him on 40mg of methadone a day in 2 doses morning and night...
now that I think about it something like roxicodone (IR oxy) might have been a better choice for him... I think I'll mention it... he tolerates oxycodone well... it's available as a generic so insurance will probably cover it... it's orally very available since I don't think he'd be game for working up a pill for IM administration (I will.... so D's work fine for me, I'm not wasting half a pill swallowing it... but then methadone works fine for me too... if my pain gets to the point I have to be on every day I'll suggest methadone right off the bat)
when i was buyin OPs alot (couple months ago, good price), i was also buyin dope, and i had no problem lettin my oxy sit in soda for 12 hrs get high on the dope while i wait n then when i drank the oxysoda it seemed like i was gettin the full 80mg, i dunno maybe thats just me, i have seen some ppl on BL claim that at best with the new OPs only 47% is absorbed but i dont buy that, not if one does the soda thing n is patient
just might work letting it "digest" in soda.... haven't tried that.
but what they're probably confusing are the opiates like Heroin, Dilaudid, Morphine and probably others is their poor oral bio-availability... with most about 50% is lost to the liver metabolizing it as it's digested so it's of no use to you...
that's why you inject all 3... I don't IV myself for example... but I'll IM all 3 of them just because I'm not going to waste half a rather expensive (or hard to get/very limited supply) pill.
Oxycontins have all that junk in them to make them hard to work up for injection... but oxycodone has a VERY high oral bio-availability... so the only advantage is the rush if you IV them... not my thing.
so go ahead... drop it in a coke, let it disolve over 8-12 hours and chug away.
you might want to look around for a brand of "boutique" sodas with flip-top/ceramic tops... some of the fancy root-beers come that way... they're expensive as far as sodas go... but what's an extra buck to have a good cold (and still carbonated) soda to chug.... and yes the carbonation DOES help it go through the stomach wall faster.
