Oxy vs Dope... Smack by popular demand

I personally find heroin to be quite a bit more euphoric than oxycodone, not ridiculously so, but enough to clearly notice the difference. Everyone says oxy is a stimulating high and dope is a sedating one, I think it is dose dependent, you can go higher with your oxy dose and still maintain a slightly stimulated buzz, but for me the thresh hold effect of heroin is quite stimulating and I can use a moderate dose and still not find it too sedating. Heroin is a much better opioid to nod off, but I find it does take a decent dose before one starts to nod, if I am not nodding, especially if I am nowhere near it, then heroin can be quite a social and slightly stimulating high for me. Heroin and oxy are both really nice drugs, but I can have oxy sitting there for a long time (had one 40mg OG OxyContin in my drawer for months, it isn't enough to nod so it has been easy not to touch it...) whereas dope it is hard to go more than a few days without using it, especially once I have dipped into that pick up for the first time.

It takes A RIDICULOUS dose of oxy to have me nodding out and I like that. It's a lot more precarious with H, I agree the first line is pretty stimulating like oxy, but the lines after usually lead to sedation.

Still OC will probably always be my fav, even over hydro, which i've only plugged and snorted in the 16 mg range (the duration is ridiculously short).

I like both.

Oxy is great very euphoric for me, if I elevate my dose past the normal I almosst always catch a nod.
That being said its exspensive around my parts.

Dope is also great. Less stimulating very euphoric always nod from a modest dose.
Its quality in my parts suck. Only have one good dealer who comes threw once in a blue moon.

I'd prolly pick the h for how much more potnent it is of o had a better hook.
And the price not even comparable.

All things aside I'd say its a really tough decision. I never would have changed over to h if it wasn't for the price. But now that I changed I would never consider spending the money on oxy instead of h. I don't shoot, just snort, btw. I tried some oxy on the high side of my old dose around 6 months after changing to h, and it didn't do much for me, I then snorted some h and was all set. I had to test it out, even though I would've gotten high twice for the price of the oxy that really didn't do much. But I feel if your dependent on 1 of those 2, then the other 1 won't satisfy you enough, considering it'll be working a bit differently on the receptor than what you are used to. I don't think my tolerance went up that much since starting the dope, not enough that the amount of oxy that would have me feeling good now leaves me still a bit sick.

Oxy to me is like methadone...It gives me an energetic, euphoric, need to get shit done yet still relaxed and enjoyable high. I save heroin for the evening where i just want to be lazy and nod the fuck out. Oxy for day, heroin for night

Edit: I dont use oxy anymore, havent since circa ~ 2008. I use methadone in the am and dope in the pm. Ime, methadone feels stimulating like oxy to me.

but if I can get a anything above like a 8/10 bag of dope, and I got some weed on hand......

well it depends on how easy the dope transaction went too

Not only are oxy pills way over-fuckin'-priced, but they also don't even compare to the potency of decent dope.
I feel sorry for the fella's who dish out mad loot for a couple of pills when they could be getting 10x the quantity & quality if they switched over to dope.
I mean, don't get me wrong. Oxy can be great if you're just starting out and never fucked with dope.
But for a guy like me, oxy isn't going to do SHIT for me. So dope it is.

Definitely true about oxycodone not lasting long at all. When I was using regularly I would do oxy late at night, and wake up at 7am already sick. Compare that to dope, where it would do it at night and be good for 18 hours, and be able to make it close to 24 hours before getting really sick. That makes sense because even if I did a lot of oxy the high only lasted an hour, whereas a good dope high could last me damn near 7 hours if it was fire, or 3-4 hours if it was average.

I've felt that in both directions, like spent WAY too much on 30s and been thinking, "If I had a dope connect..." Or got some amazing dope really cheap and thought, this is like 10x in oxy...
But they really don't compare, one is the best opiate, even nasally, for recreation, even medicine. But it's illegal. The other is way more expensive and not really as good euphoria (but in some ways better medicine), but it's legal, so if you can get your monthly supply in 15 minutes instead of wasting however long the dope boy takes every day...
