Oxy robberies....

Hey, I know all of the good ole
U.S. of A is doin' oc's but up here
in New England there are nightly pharmacy
robberies. it's sort of an epedemic.
It headlines the news every night here
and I was wondering if this was going on
elsewhere?
 
I've heard about it, but not around here.
The idea is rather amusing though. Rent the movie Drugstore Cowboy if you get a kick outta the idea.

Yup! every day a pharmacy gets robbed here.
Nowhere eles huh?
 
we had 3 huge robberies close to us last month. Only K and oxy were taken in the first 2 robberies. As for the 3rd the couple took 12 bottles supposedly of K but later to find out it was some shit that had no rec value.
 
Yeah, i live in the new england area and the local cvs put a small cardboard sign that read "We do NOT carry oxycontin!".
 
Most of the major pharmacies carry Oxy's in Miami and actually keep them in safes. Many of the smaller ones have stopped carrying it. A friend of mine works at a pharmacy that stopped carrying it because break-ins were so common, the pharmacy was losing money on it.
 
Curious...why would pharmacies..Eg CVS carry K ??

it is getting kind of crazy up here!
What I am wondering, if anyone has an answer, is why the oxycontin? I mean, MScontin has been around for so long and it must be as strong, right?
So, why is everyone hunting for the oxy and not some other powerful script?
