Oxy Pill Crushing

I currently take the Oxycodone pills and take the color off and then crush them up after that and snort them, or break them up like that and swallow them. Now I know the color is not the time release coating so when I break up the tab and stiff it like that I think I am taking in the time release coating too. Is there anything else that people do before crushing this and take is nasally? I have tried to cut the coating off with a knife but that did not work out that well and it seemed like I was losing some of the pill. Please help.
 
Man, I'm going to assume you're talking about the newer, "tamper-proof" formulation that's somewhat new to the market, that say OP on one side instead of OC like they used to...if that's the case, then, well...you're shit out of luck on the snorting part, unless you feel like doing some microwaving and freezing (if so, search the forums for "snorting OP oxycontin" or something). The quickest and easiest method for the OPs is: get it into tiny pieces and then eat a small piece, followed by something small like a chip or tiny piece of bread to keep the pieces of Oxy from reforming into the gel in your stomach. Repeat until the whole pill (or however much you want to do) is down.

If you're talking about the ones that say OC, well...it should be easy enough.
 
if they are OP's dont bother trying to do anything but eat them. dont bother with the microwaving/freezing and all that mess, you end up loosing some of the pill and its a huge pain the ass.
 
Oxy actually works better swallowed.......It has a higher bio availability than snorting them.

I would just crush them up and swallow it.

I used to snort them too all the time but once I got over the idea that it would work better I realized that it was all in my head.
 
The old 'OC' Oxycontin only need to have the coating rubbed off by a slightly damp paper towel. Once it is removed, they can be crushed and used from there.

I'd recommend just dosing them orally, though. As others have said, the oral BA is high and the binders/fillers can irritate your nasal passages and aren't healthy to inhale.
 
These are still the old formulation. I am in Canada and they don't carry the new OP here mine are the same as the old OC you used to get. Any info on that? or am I currently doing it the way everyone else has been doing it
 
thats the only way... how else would you sniff it? the only other option would be to extract the oxy out of the pills. and thats just ridiculous.

Nope, so long as you're removing the coating completely you're doing it the right way. The old formulation is just ridiculously easy to circumvent.
