Is it safe to take oxycodone while on antibiotics? Do they have any interaction with each other? Thanks for the help.

yes, its one of the most common combo scripts dispensed at a pharmacy.

I'm bored so I'll counsel you: Side effects from the antibiotic may include nausea, so take it with some food. Diarrhea is also commonly seen. Be sure to finish the full prescription of the antibiotic. If you are on birth control, it is suggested that you use a back up method as the antibiotic may interfere with the efficacy of the pill. Do not take the antibiotic within 2 hours of taking a multivitamin or drinking milk as it may effect the absorption.
Oxycodone is a narcotic pain reliever. One of the side effects of opiates is constipation (hopefully it will cancel the diarrhea out). It may cause nausea. It can also cause drowsiness, so be sure not to operate any heavy machinery. Also, alcohol may intensify these effects. Take every 4-6 hours and needed for pain.
Out of curiosity, which antibiotic are u on?
