My two suppliers of oxycontin have both told me the same thing.
"A government meeting is going to be held to decide if Oxycontin should be taken off the market or not. It probably will be, and next month is probably going to be the last month that Oxycontin scripts are going to be filled"
Does anyone have more info on this?
Also, if Oxycontin is taken off the market, what drug will patients be given in place of Oxycontin?
Also, if this does happen, I am planning on buying all of my suppliers scripts and holding on to them for a few months after they are taken off the market, then sell them for about qaudruple what they are worth (.50/mg) to (2.00/mg). Does anyone think this would work?

Don't listen to your friends, they are idiots... when it comes to pharmacuticals, otherwise knowledgable people just drop a level ...
Purdue is working to re-formulate the drug, you can expectthe NEW OC's in 3 years or so (after the patent for the current form has expired) .. they pulled the 160mg tabs awhile ago, but for now, there is NO PLAN to remove the drug from the market ... while the media tells their overdramatized horror stories, the VAST MAJORITY of those that are prescribed OxyContin have found it to be the REASON they can live a normal life - problems with diversion and abuse will always exist, it has nothing to do with the drug...
Please, let's try and silence talk of all this.. it's my feeling that the fewer people we turn on to the drug, the better off we are!
