Opioids Oxy neo, how does the extended release work ?

Does anyone know how the extended release mechanism works exactly ?
Is the dose released at 3 different times or just 2 ?
Like x mg released then 2 hours lates the rest released, if anyone could explain it to me i would appreciate it.
